You've got to feel bad for Chatwood. His career is basically over unless he can fix his problem. They need to put him out on the DL and have him work the entire time with some ace pitching coach. And see a psychiatrist to get the bug out of his brain about pitching.

None of the guys look like they are enjoying tonight at all.

Cubs have one day off and then they play 23 games in a row. They only have about 38 games left to play. If they keep losing now, they are going to have a hard time coming back up to make the playoffs.

Plus the news about Darvish was far from good. Losing Ken Ravizza may have affected the team more than anyone thought.

while the schedule is challenging..this race is so close that it's anyone's guess. I think many were assuming Darvish was a long shot and take it as icing on the cake if he was back. The guys missing Ken tho, good point. No idea if they would even realize it as an issue, KWIM? But when struggling in any aspect, he was the go to guy to air it out, or to just jaw about whatever the guys wanted to reach out with, and vice versa. Seeing how choked up Davey Martinez was last week was rough too.
