Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

They have food at different places, mostly snack type stuff though. A friend of mine went this past week and was trying all the party exclusive food, and had dinner at cosmic rays, but her parents went with her kids for a dinner at BOG during the party around 8. I personally wouldn’t want to take that time out, and she didn’t either which is why she and her husband didn’t join them, but she did say her husband hardly ate anything because he was just so excited to do all the things so didn’t want to stop to eat and miss anything. I can see how it would be easy to just not eat if you do all the things during the party.
Thank you! Yeah I think an early dinner or something at cosmic rays would be fine as long as there are some snack things about. I forgot about the party exclusive snacks! Maybe we will try some of those. I agree about wasting party time. I could do an early dinner but wouldnt want to use prime party time for a sit down dinner. Time flies at the parties!!

Poly breakfast this morning had scrambled eggs, ham, silver dollar pancakes. Then the normal pastries, oatmeal, fruit, bagel/breads etc.

Lounge food last nite (Friday) . Chicken nuggets, bbq lamb loin, sweet and sour chicken, fruit caviar w/ burrata, shrimp/noodles. Along with the normal veggies and meats/cheeses.

The only thing I wish the People/famlies staying here would not allow their kids to run up and down the hallways. Just had a 9 or 10 year old boy run down the hallway full speed and his crocs flipped off his feet and he fell on the floor. He ended up kicking the cane out from my mom who just got off the elevator. I was waiting for her as I took the stairs down from the lounge. In the meantime his family behind him laughed and laughed. Maybe its just me but I do not get what was so funny. A small child i get. But that age. Oh well. We will have to really be careful and really watch for the big kids to also run.

Glad you had a good time! What’s up with the food situation? I saw cosmic rays is open late but not much else? Are there snack carts open? I’m worried about the food situation too. I made a 430 res at skipper canteen but really didn’t want a sit down.
At 11p everything was closed . We totally didn’t pay attention. !

Resorts were also showing closed at 11 and I could mobile order there either . Gf/poly/cr.

..The only thing I wish the People/famlies staying here would not allow their kids to run up and down the hallways…
I watched my little sister do that at the end of a day at Disneyland years ago. My parents yelled at her to stop but had no energy to stop her. She came within centimeters of losing an eye when she fell and went head first into a door. Miraculously she just had a heck of shiner, didn’t even break her face.

After that any child in our family for the next couple generations attempting run down a hallway can forget it. They will be caught like their life depends on it.

Ugh that's disappointing. I hope you found a snack!🧁
Yep dole whip . Sunshine Seasons didn’t carry pineapple but the strawberry was good.

Dd had to wait e0 minutes at Casey’s for fries. I checked the map last night and it does NOT list any restaurant times so it’s hard to know, Tonight I’ll bring a banana n chips or something from the lounge so I will at least have that. After I book VQ and my ILL I’ll see if app has restaurant times.

Breakfast this morning from Poly. Omlets, French Toast sticks, Spam and then the normal breads, pastries, oatmeal and yogurt.

DH and i have YC CL WV booked for our upcoming long weekend - happens to be the 1/2 marathon weekend and start of Jersey week (we’re in Orlando the week before for a conference, so dates not changeable). In other words, will be busy. We’re making some adjustments to justify the cost of a VIP tour on Sunday, and one adjustment is ditching a night. I can’t get rid of the night online and need to call today. I was able to grab a deluxe BW CL room for our dates this morning just in case, and the price difference is negligible (about 200).

Which one should we keep? Thoughts? I’ve always resisted BW because the rooms don’t appeal to me, but the lounge reports are always so good. DH likes YC, but if the food at BW is that much better, he’ll be on board.

Eta - as always, thank you guys!!!

The views are better at bwi in the deluxe. Recently bwi dropped their chef so food may be better at yc.

Both have good food. It’s not like AKL with some flavors that may not appeal to all. Bwi you can walk to HS is that is something you would do?

Last it seems to me transportation to bwi is quicker. It doesn’t ha e to go all around like yc and BC. I have been walking to bwi to take my ride share from Epcot. It’s a quick ride.

Both are good options so enjoy what ever you choose/

Thank you so much.

We’d be walking to both Epcot and DHS, so it’s the same difference in the end… And we always like that there’s a good chance of seeing Epcot fireworks from our balcony in that YC room category. Hmmm, BWI eliminated the chef? That actually sways me if they’ll let me cut a day off of the YC room. I think both lounges and tge parks will be a little insane that weekend, really glad I was able to book a VIP (though I won’t be so glad when the charge arrives)! It’s a balancing act making sure DH is happy and insulated from the worst crowds.

Recently bwi dropped their chef.......????? When did that happen? Is it permanent? That's the best part of their CL!

We will be there the same time (Friday-Tuesday) and with a similar plan! 2 nights BWI CL and then 2 nights at CR Tower CL. I have a VIP tour reserved for Monday and have been waffling with whether to keep it or not.

Just checked out of RPC. Mixed thoughts. We were at Epcot after checking out of YC Friday & came over around 2:30. We hadn’t gotten the room ready text yet. Went to the front desk. CM was pleasant, checked us in there. Said housekeeping was in the room at the time, fixed our bands & said we could go up to the lounge to wait. No offer of an escort “you’ve been here before, you know your way around”. I didn’t think much about it till the next afternoon. I needed to go to the CM desk on the 3rd floor & saw 3 families getting checked in there. Being shown around & up to lounge, given welcome gifts, generally being made welcome. By contrast, I felt like nobody even knows we’re here. And we don’t need a lot of attention. It was just a strange contrast.

We had Room 4419, ready almost as soon as we sat down. Love the view, for a standard it was very nice. We could see most of the Electric Water Parade at Poly & fireworks from MK. Very convenient to the lounge & pretty quiet. The beds were so comfortable.

The bad: First thing I noticed was a few pieces of plastic wrapping still in the trash can. Not enough to complain about, but still shouldn’t have been there. There is some kind of drain pipe in the ceiling of the balcony. Water poured down from there when it rained heavy Saturday. And the balcony was unusable for much of the time because there was definite cigarette smoking close by. I couldn’t see anyone smoking so I couldn’t really complain about it. But after just a few minutes out there my throat was burning & I was getting congested. And yesterday our room wasn’t serviced when we came back at 3, housekeeping didn’t come til about 4:40. We just had him do towels & trash, we didn’t need anything else at that point.

Much of the food wasn’t to our taste. I loved the tomato basil soup. And the bruschetta was delicious. The 2 nights they had pasta & sauce that we would have liked, we had ADRs at Citricos & California Grill. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh well. They had the jars of candy so that was a good bonus! And the cheesecake at dessert time was yummy. I’d love be the tea & scones to be brought back & I missed the orchestra too.

The lovely bellman, Witt, who came for our luggage this morning asked if we heard about the remodel & showed us pictures of the new lobbies in the other buildings. He encouraged us to go over & see a model vacation club room too. He was a doll. But I felt so bad he is doing that work at his age.

All in all it was a good week. We have plans for a week in late January but I think we’re skipping club level. We do so many table service meals we usually only do breakfast in the lounge. And I really liked our CR garden wing stay for Oct 1st. So planning a few nights there & of course YC.
