This is what happened with us in November. When we arrived to check in at the cabana we mentioned it, they processed a full refund and then charged us the discounted rate after confirming we were AP holders.
Thank you for saving me yet another 2 hour call b/c I didn’t believe it!! Lol
 


Hello! I have a mid-May short stay-cation at Yacht Club. I reserved just a basic, garden-view room. I would like to get a room with a day bed, as my two kids are older and don't share a bed. In the Disney app, the only room requests it allows are for "king bed". How do I request a day bed room? Thanks in advance!

Your have to call resort reservations and have them add the request to your reservation. :)

I have the same exact situation. We are staying in June. I had to call the reservation number and have them add my request. It does not show up on my reservation and I've been told to call again before we arrive to ensure that the request is still listed.
 


Someone please refresh my memory. In the past when I rented a cabana at SAB, the reservation showed in my plans with a confirmation number.
I have a current reservation and nothing is showing, also not even a confirmation email.
I was given a confirmation number when I booked and was told I rented cabana 1. I am just surprised there is no paper trail.
I reserved a cabana in February 2020 for our summer trip (which ended up being cancelled by Disney when the parks shut down) and asked the CM to email a confirmation to me. I received a confirmation for the date, but not the specific cabana I had reserved. I replied to the email and asked for a confirmation of both the date and cabana number. I received a confirmation for both later that same day.

I have a dilemma with my upcoming trip 6/13-6/19. I have a cabana on the 19th which was perfect because my flight was scheduled to leave MCO at 9pm. But Southwest decided yesterday to change my flight from 9pm to 4:20pm.

I'm attempting to add another day to the trip- either by booking the full 7 nights and cancelling original reservation or booking a single night for the 19th, but Beach and Yacht are FULLY booked. There's nothing available even at rack rate.

I'm going to call today and see if there is anything they can do to add a day, but my expectations are pretty low. Fallback plan is to book a night at the Swan.
Hope you've been able to add your day. I also have a cabana rental on 6/19! SW has also been messing around with my flights, luckily only a 10 minute change to arrival day, and they've delayed the return flight on 6/21 by an hour to 10:20PM so more playtime for me, but hubby has work the next morning!! I'm hoping that at least check in at the airport should be shorterr with later flights. I wish SW would just leave the schedule alone now, but I know from experience that sometimes they mess with it until the last week, and this is the first time I've been issued new flight numbers.

We were there 4/22-4/27 and went to the pool a bunch of times, both in the afternoon and after dinner. We only encountered a line once (Sat around 2 pm I think?), and it was only 3-4 parties long. We waited maybe 5 minutes. On that visit, we were escorted to empty chairs and told to sit there. Every other time, we were able to just walk around and find where we wanted to sit and had no trouble finding space.
 
Does anyone know who I would write to to see if they found something I may have left behind in my room? We were there Apr 10-17 and I just now totally finished emptying out all suitcases and backpacks and can't find something I know I had there. We were at Yacht Club, and because the beds are so high off the floor, I may have dropped it and kicked it under when storing my suitcase, and never really looked carefully before leaving. I know it's been awhile now, and the item is not of any great monetary value, other than to me personally... so if they found it, I'd like to try getting it sent home to me.

Any ideas?
