Mentioned way above was the soap opera parody Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. I liked that despite how crazy it could be at times.
A very short-lived parody was All That Glitters, with a gender role reversal theme. Women were business executives, construction workers, police, etc. and men were househusbands, secretaries, nurses, etc. i think it was too far ahead of its time. It only lasted about six months in late night syndication.
And, oh, yeah, there was a girl in my HS named Mary Hartman. She got a lot of kidding and ribbing from others. Sort of like Karens do today.
