Early entry for hotel guests from Paradise pier/Pixar Place Hotel

You open the gate with your room key and then you can put it away. You walk down the long path (on the side of GCH), go through security and then they scan your digital ticket or MB+ as you enter DCA. Your room key is not the same as your park ticket.

Right it's not your park ticket, I just know they make you tap your card after the main entrance to get past the rope drop so I wasn't sure if they did that there after you used it to open the door. I'm thinking that entrance might not be the best but just wanted to check. Thanks!
