Fantasmic! dining packages for January?

Actually I see dinner ADRs for 1/8. So I suppose I missed out for 1/1. Oh well we will make lunch work.

I have stakeout and MD alerts and none went off for 1/1 for dinner. MD was late to the party and did show 1/1 lunch at 2:20 (stakeout didn’t alert until much later)

Oh. Sorry. I just checked a few mins ago so there are ADRs for 1/8, when everyone checks out and flies back home.

There are lots of reservations for the 8th but as of 10:53 am today. No dates After the 8th have availability and I suppose that is because there have not opened them up yet- except for the one on the 15th that @Realgrumpy was able to get-at least those posting on this forum.

We have a short 4 day planned and it would be nice
To get a reservation for MM F! Pacakage

I’m pretty sure you will be able to grab it the day or two before. If you check in earlier in the day there are lots of cancellations.

I saw a few open up on Jan 25. Was not able to grab fast enough. I tried cancelling a reservation that we had for lunch. Had 4 people in my family trying to grab it but it never showed up.

It does not appear they are doing this for 2nd shows. I currently see a H&V for 6:40 pm 1/1/23 that is not for Fantasmic. If they were including 2nd showings, it would be a F! Package.

I can’t believe they didn’t set reservations aside for these packages. Insane.

A friend also tried the cancel regular ADR to get a F! for her SciFi lunch and it worked for her too.

I had a 50' PT lunch ADR for Jan 2nd so I cancelled it on the website while being logged in in the F! dining page on the app. When I released my regular ADR, it appeared as a F! ADR almost right away so I was able to catch it and my Stakeout notification dinged at that moment as well. So it confirms they had not blocked ADRs for the F! pkg AND that nothing became available for January 2nd lunch.

I was able to get one at 50'S prime time for Han 8th. But I wanted H&v. It looks like we are overwhelming the system

Family member let me know they were out while I was in line at Kohl’s. Nothing at all open for any of our week. Oh well, I was second guessing it anyway

Don’t give up. People will cancel regular non dining package reservations and if they are within the qualifying times to be allowed for the dining package, they will become available for booking at either option.

I let go of HbD (6:35 pm) and it didn’t change to Fantasmic, so I don’t think it works with at least that ADR. I grabbed it back.

The latest I see dinner going on 1/8 is 4:45, so it could be that ADRs for Fantasmic don’t go past 5 pm for the first show (not sure if second show has been released)

Thanks! It’s not too big of a deal. We haven’t bothered to see the show in probably 10 years but figured we’d check out the new show. I’m really happy with the ADRs we already have (Monsieur Paul, Space 220) & only had 1 day that I was willing to change. We have plans for at least 2 more trips in 2023 so we have plenty of other chances to catch it. But glad so many who have been waiting got their spots!
