It has now been 1 hour, still holding....

Okay doing the happy dance. Even though it took nearly 1.5 hours we got everything we wanted and for the times as well. Only had to swap days for two but not a big deal as they were in the same park.

well it is not online because I was up bright and eary for that and that was a bust!

Whew! The drama!

I can only imagine how the CM's are feeling this morning.

I had "all circuits are busy" for 45 minutes.
I was "on hold" for 45 minutes.
Reservations took 15 minutes, but she was nice and efficient.

So 1 hour and 45 minutes later, I got all of the reservations I wanted at the times I wanted.

After getting up at crack o dawn, hoping for the online ADR to be working, then getting in right away only to be disconnected not once but twice and holding for a total of 2 hours and 47 minutes...I have my ADR's and got everything we wanted, and not too far off from the times we wanted

Whew! I'm done too. I called right at 7am and got threw but then was disconnected after 20 minutes of holding. Ack! Then for the next hour I got the lovely "all circuits are busy" message but then got threw to be on hold again. Then I was disconnected at the exact same point of the hold music (its a small world) after another 20 minutes of holding. Argh!

The CM I spoke to was nice and I got everything I wanted within 20 minutes of my request time, except for Le Cellier which was 2 hours earlier than we wanted... but we got it!

We are DVC so the DDP is not free. Not that it matters when making ADRs!
I got everything I wanted except could not get LeCellier. Did not want to eat early or late. So I'm skipping it this time.

We are DVC and do NOT have the free dining. Free dining was announced much later, after we made our reservations. It ususally starts AFTER our vacation so this was the first time I had to deal with this competition. I could not start calling until 7:30, after DS left for school. Got all circuits are busy a few times...then start to finish my call was 1 hr. 48 min.

I did NOT get what I wanted for Fantasmic. Apparently got just about the only slot left at the Brown Derby (last choice of restaurant) and at 3:40 (wanted much later). I also wanted to make ressies for it for 2 diff. days but this was the ONLY day / slot left she said since they've cut back on the number of shows.

Also made ressies for:
dinner at Tony's Town Square
lunch at Tusker House
and lunch and dinner at San Angel Inn (will decide on which one to keep later)

Debated about reserving at Cape May Cafe and Restaurant Marrakesh too but did not do those at this time...may try to add those later or just wing it when we get there...

I am glad I got through when I did, because I had tohang up and leave for work by 8AM! The castmember picked up at 7:45AM! Perfect timing!

Whew - finally got through, it took almost an hour but I'm happy with what I got. I had to change the times but not the dates.
