FREE LOS passes??

I read in another post about the "free LOS passes for the first five years". What's up with this? That would be too good to be true!!:confused:

By the way, DO you get any kind of breaks/discounts on passes, etc?....

Actually, since we bought in '92, we had the free passes for the first eight years.

This was a sales incentive to get DVC off the ground. We were actually promised a "substantially similar replacement" for the passes when they expired at the time we bought, but they never came through with that.

There is only a paultry 5% discount on length of stay passes with you DVC membership today.
 
Can the 5% DVC discount be combined with the Disney Club discount? I assume it is one or the other, but not both.
 
The DVC discount on LOS passes is 10% (and you must be staying at a DVC resort on points to qualify). The DC discount is 5%. They cannot be combined.
