Match Game, Password, and Hollywood Squares were my favorite
I assume you have read about her "suspicious" death?
I enjoyed the older Password and Match Game. The originals, not the revived ones in the late 70s.
Plus $10,000/$25,000/$50,000 + Pyramid.
If you won five straight games, you automatically won a car. You could choose among any of the five displayed cars. I remember a guy picking the station wagon instead of the Camaro!!!!
In 7th grade, three other girls and I did a skit in history class based on the Split Second format. The cars were those battery powered Hot Wheels with a switch on the bottom to make them run. I didn't win.
My mom was on the original Match Game in the 60s. Saw it being taped, as well as Concentration that day.
Match Game was the best, and to this day Gene Rayburn still had the coolest mic ever
Maybe Gene Rayburn was trying to copy Freddie Mercury and his distinctive microphone.
Queen for a Day , Gong Show, Beat the Clock, $64,000 Question, Stop the Music
