Is GoTG still allowing DAS guests to return late for their VQ time slot?

Yes, TRON is still strict with VQ return and probably always will be (at least for the foreseeable future) due to the lighting effects when riding at night.

We were there a few weeks ago and happened to be near GotG during our boarding group return window (but couldn't ride at that time for various reasons). A CM set it up for us at that time so that we could return any time before the park closed that evening. On our MK day we were unable to get to Tron during our return window but talked to a CM and showed them our boarding pass and explained we wouldn't be able to make it during said window. They said we could do the same thing as with GotG, but that they couldn't set it up to show an extended DAS return time until our return window had arrived. It turns out we weren't able to make it to Tron at all that day but that was what we were told.
