Amex is still stating that the 150,000 bonus points offer doesn’t exist. There has been no way for me to show them my emails and screenshots. I finally (2 hours later) was given an email address for a guy at corporate. I’m sick of being treated like I’m a liar.

I remember the loss of URs when we booked our cruise last year. But look at how much you saved and the redemption rate only goes higher! You doing the Oasis? We were on it in February

Yes. Doing the Oasis. Was on the Allure when it first came out. So awhile ago. Oasis is going on a 2 month dry dock in the fall. Can’t wait to see what upgrades they do. Also can’t wait to see the new Coco Cay.

Dh and I just saw detective pikachu. It was okay. I wouldn’t go see it again but I enjoyed it. I grew up with Pokémon on my gameboy and had all of the cards so it was cool seeing the Pokémon on the screen. The story was lacking and there were a lot of cheesy scenes though. We still need to go see avengers

Hopefully this will be helpful:
@SouthFayetteFan 's churning spreadsheet headers!

View attachment 399731
The top one is the headers on my Credit Card Spreadsheet:
  • Credit Card = name of card starting with ISSUER (i.e. CHASE Disney Rewards)
  • Acct = last 4 of acct (or 5 w/ amex)
  • Person = My name or My Wife (although I keep a separate table for each of us so this probably isn't necessary, lol)
  • AU = last 4 of AU card if I added one
  • Date Applied = actually is the date approved but I never renamed it
  • Date Cancelled = Empty unless I cancelled the card
  • Annual Fee = the AF amount
  • Annual Bonus = any bonus you get annually for keeping the card open
  • Signup Bonus = what I earned or will earn from the signup
  • Min Spend = the MSR I reached
  • Bonus Received = the date the bonus posted (for Chase cards I make this the stmt close date, not the day they go pending)
  • Bonus Value = the monetary value of the bonus (typically including the base points and any other 1st year credits that go along with the card)
  • % Return = Bonus Value divided by MSR
  • Notes = Misc. Notes on how I valued things and such
  • Ongoing Rewards Value = any bonus categories of interest that this card had
The bottom one is the headers on my Loyalty programs tracking sheet
  • Program = Southwest, Marriott, Ultimate Rewards, American Airlines, etc.
  • Person = my name or my wife (I keep these all in the same table sorted by program)
  • Points = number of points in the account (often a formula where I'm subtracting any points I have "pending use" but didn't actually complete the flight or stay yet
  • Last Activity = last time points posted (only if there is an expiration date with the program)
  • Expiration = a formula based on last activity of when my points will expire (or N/A if they don't expire)
  • As Of = the last time I logged in and checked my balance on this program
  • Approx. Value = my valuation of those points based on how I probably will use them
  • Notes = Misc. Notes on how I valued the points and other things I may want to track
  • Membership ID = my loyalty number
EDIT: I also have a separate spreadsheet of screenshots of every offer I apply for...it's quick/easy to take a screenshot and paste it there showing the bonus on the application before I submit it!
Wow. Awesome! And putting the screenshots right in the other spreadsheet is an great idea. Thanks so much. Time to make the spreadsheets.

You gonna chew that pack of gum? You could also do a 50¢ Amazon gift card reload (or buy a $1 Amazon gift card).
I will actually chew the gum but your point is well taken lol. Using your way costs me nothing. Well played. I hope to think of these things on my own someday but in the meantime I am very grateful for you all.

All this cruise talk just reminded me........I have been thinking about transferring my RCCL cruise booking to Chase so I can use my UR's towards it. I had booked direct with RCCL 2 weeks ago. Has anyone done this transfer for a cruise? Is it easy to do? Do you still retain control of the booking on the RCCL website?

Trying to mentally prepare myself to wipe out my UR balance.

I need that warm weather! I subbed today and we took kids outside for an intruder drill. What a terrible day to go out for that. There were kids in shorts that were freezing.
Poor kids and ugh on the intruder drills..showing my age but back in the 60s during the Cold War we had drills for atomic bombs....had to go in the school hallway and covering our heads....looking back like that would of helped

(Aleve or Advil can be used with Vicodin/Norco as they contain Tylenol, not an anti inflammatory) He should make sure to check with his doctor though.

Are you sure about this? I'm not a medical professional, but I've been the exact opposite - that both Aleve and Advil are anti-inflammatories). I just want to make sure about this...

A wheelchair or transport chair would have been easier, collapsible for buses, trains, etc and generally more flexible. Also at times, my mom didn’t want to ride, she wanted to walk and the wheelchair she could have pushed like a walker.

I agree with you. We've used a transport chair for my dd for several trips and it's so easy to use and collapse for the buses ,boats, etc. I always cringe watching the ECV's trying to get on the ramp, back up, try again. Looks awful to me honestly.

Pushing the chair is not a big deal to us but we have 3 people who can push and my dd is pretty petite. I'm not sure I'd want to push my dh by myself the whole trip. That sounds pretty tiring.

I guess my wording isn’t crystal clear. Advil and Aleve are both anti inflammatory, don’t take both. Norco or Vicodin contains Tylenol, which is not an anti inflammatory.

ETA I will clarify my original post

I like to think I am too. But then I wake up.

That is some good chicken.

That’s crazy. I have that offer on my Hilton Card right now

I thought we all paid in advance with all those ‘likes’ you got

The Bliss seems like the antithesis of what an Alaska cruise should be about: nature, wildlife, views, etc. Go kart racing, laser tag, casino, no thanks.

If you plan on using the offer, screen shot everything. They are telling me it doesn't exist.

Seriously the ECV was a big part of why that trip was an awful disaster. My sister was the other big part :rolleyes1

Transportation with the ECV can be hard/limiting. We always do an Epcot/MK resort split. We walk/scoot to DHS and Epcot and walk/scoot from CR or monorail from other MK resorts. AK and DS is special. When leaving the resort, we make sure to leave ample time so we're not running late. An issue can be if you're at a resort that shares busses since it can fill before it gets to the second stop. If we stay at BC, we head over to YC to get picked up for AK/DS since we have a better chance of getting a spot on the bus. When heading back to the resort, we've been using the accessible Minnie Van. I call about an hour before we want to get back and then we leisurely leave AK.

I use this one:

https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/9430cv/churning_tracker_spreadsheet_template/

It tracks about everything I can think of, even bank bonuses (in a basic way).
This probably won't surprise anybody here in the least...but I am a STRONG ADVOCATE for creating your own spreadsheet. :teacher: I just think if you put the effort into creating it, you will understand it better and be more likely to use it. (But the one you shared is decent, lol!)

I like it better when you are annoyed that we all use it. That's lots more fun :D
Ugh Fine...I'm not ok with this whole SUB nonsense. Unless it's describing a delectable sandwich washed down by a Diet Mt Dew :drinking1

Sorry...I can't delete the comment.
Well - this is 3 seconds of my life I'll never get back :P

We just had to walk the kids quickly to a secure area away from the school, but it was so cold. When I was in school we had to do the whole sitting in the hallway with a book over our heads for tornadoes. I remember doing it multiple times for real, though.
