I think one of the most amazing parts about the DIS is how everyone rallies together and supports those in need. I am sure this was just an unexpected benefit that popped up when Pete created this site so long ago. For this I am so thankful. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! I hope you know how much you and your family are loved by all of us here. We've never met, but I feel like I know you and your mom through all your comments and stories over the past years. It's obvious that you are very close. I lost my mom a few years ago, and I always wondered how the world would keep turning without her in it. It was so hard. I wouldn't wish losing a mom on my worst enemy.

I will continue praying for a miracle for her! If the combined prayers of all your friends and family don't work, hopefully you will find some comfort in the love and strength that we are all sending your way.
