New Balance Shoes

Hello! I am running my first runDisney event during the wine and dine half and I am super excited! I have a question about the new balance booth at the Expo. Do they sell previous years shoes? I'm specifically wondering if the cinderella ones will be available!!

Sadly they don't. :( But I wish they did, because I still really want the pink Minnie ones from the same year as the Cinderellas. But since they don't, I full intend to purchase the Ariel ones instead this year at Wine and Dine, since I didn't get the Tinks I wanted last year and still regret it.

True about Fit2Run - I was at the New Balance booth this past weekend and the rep there was telling me about how the shoes are in DTD. He seemed pretty surprised by it, said it was a new thing (within the past couple of weeks or so).

For what it's worth, there's always eBay. I ended up buying 2 prs of the black retro Mickey 860s for about half of what they were selling for at the expo.

Somebody took a bath on those!

My point is - given the right time and circumstance, you might actually find a decent deal on the model you're looking for.

Also if you are planning on using these for running be aware what style of shoe you are buying. I believe all runDisney new balance have been support class shoes. I have a different fit and the runDisney just didn't work. My Cinderellas became an expensive souvenir as they just don't fit right even for walking. I ended up going up a size because they felt too tight but up a size gives me blisters. I also found the New Balance booth peeps not to be the most helpful with suggestions and will just kind of open end you into answering it yourself so it isn't like a running store experience.

Yah. True, unfortunately any of the ones I find in my size are exorbitantly over priced. Only Tinks I could find in my 9.5 size are $250.

Yes! I don't use mine for running as I prefer to keep them as awesome as possible. I've noticed with New Balance, I always go up a half size. I always buy mine in 9.5

I went up a full size and it was a bad call. Regular shoes I'm a 7, running shoes 7.5, and NB runDisney I went for an 8. They are way too big but the 7.5 was uncomfortable. I asked the sales guy to see if he thought they were too big and he was no help. I should have just walked away from them and not bought any but I really wanted a pair. I haven't bought one since.

So, I'm actually pretty excited it's now possible to get Run Disney NB's from previous years at Fit2Run, depending on availability. To my knowledge, this is the first time Run Disney has sold these sneakers outside the expo. And it certainly beats (most) eBay prices.

Here's what the Disney Springs Fit2Run store currently offers as of 5/21/16:

Yesterday, Sunday? Cool! They weren't there a few days ago. Lol. Yeeesh gonna have to keep my eyes open for new arrivals!

Surprised Disney is allowing sales of the 2016 shoes already since Run Disney still has 4 more races to hold before 2016 is up!

They must still have a pretty heavy inventory on the Dumbos.
