Change to our plans. We are staying the same dates but are now going to be at PPH. Still doing TOT on the 8th.

Oustandingly happy, got a full size rental car for 8 days for 265....for our trip in Oct....anyone know when the hours will be released?

If they are doing fireworks every night doesn't the park have to be open later?

If it's like the December weekday schedule, when the park closes ar 8 p.m., the fireworks would be at 7:45, right before the park closes. I assume that's what they'll do again if the park closes at 8 on weekdays.

Cannot believe this is coming up so fast. We will be doing the TOT on 10/16 and staying in the Pirate Suite at the DL Hotel. It will be me, DH and DD6. We are looking forward to it.

I used a site called hotwire....they ahve hot deals sometimes and his was a hotdeal. You can also check out priceline.

The thing with hotwire/priceline is you don't get to chose your rental agency...however, I got national.

I was on Disneyland.com last night to check if they have posted October park hours. They had Oct 1 to Oct 6 posted. This morning they added Oct 7. I wish they would just post the whole month. This one day at a time thing is funny weird.

My october trip is for my mother's birthday.. it's also going to be a mini meet with a large group of the Disboard Diva's. We have some meals planned together.. and one day we are having a luncheon for my sweet mama's birthday. I'll take some pics to share when we come home.

Everyone be sure to take lots of pics!!! Maybe if some of us don't have time to do a big trip report..we could do a group trip report.. like a thread for October park attendees to post pics or reviews from their trip.

It just seems sometimes i have great intentions to make a trip report then FaFiNkA i get busy and don't do it. So maybe just a communal thread for those who don't do a trip report?

Photos definitely won't be a problem. My friends always joke if my camera is attached to my arm in some way because I never put it down.

This is kind of a pain.... and I wish they would put up the entertainment schedules when they post the hours! Uggh... but at least we know Fantasmic will be showing and I have the hours to our first couple of days there!

Very cool that you're taking your mom to Disney for her b-day And I love the idea of a group TR! I have my own PTR going atm *steps up to pimp link in my siggy* but would be happy to put together a couple of paragraphs of condensed fun for a group one

In case you are interested I just got a 2 week car rental (mid size or larger - thrifty's choice at checkin) for only 128.00 per week base price. The out the door price with all taxes, unlimited miles, 2 drivers allowed was 325.00 for the two weeks (Oct. 30 - Nov. 14th), but again I checked the Wild car discount where they pick the car mid size or larger depending on what they have so we could even get something better than midsize, hopefully not a cargo van though.


***So I am editing this real quick because I just went on line to see about other dates and I checked other airports and it seems like this special is only for Ontario (which we are flying into because it is the only city that has no change of planes for us) so unless you are using Ontario I don't think they have that deal anywhere else, but when I first started checking 1 month ago the prices were more like 285.00 per week so I would suggest booking something to lock it in but check back frequently for a price reduction - it is quick and easy to change your reservation with thrifty.

That's great and a wonderful suprise for him! My girls (wife and 2 daughters) all have summer b-days so we weren't able to take advantage of the free b-day thing for them - just too crowded and hot.

As a coincidence though my older DD turns 13 this Friday - say goodbye to the "tweens"
