If they follow last year's model, the latest for BoG is around 6:20. If they do the same and you're looking at a 6:30 or after time slot, there should be a notice somewhere during the booking of the ADR that a park ticket AND special event ticket is required.

As to the calendar you're seeing, I don't know where they got their hours. There are no December 2017 calendars out yet; November hasn't even been released. My guess is they are basing it on last year, so you need to keep an eye out for what happens this year.



You need to go back into your reservation and see if they have added any verbiage about needing a special event ticket. That is later than they were allowing last year. . However, up until last year, they allowed ADRs up to 7:00 for anyone, and once you finish dinner, they escort you out of the park if you don't have a ticket. Make sure you use the restroom before you leave the restaurant, because they will not let you stop for anything, including shopping on Main St.

I know we're off topic here but we've been talking a lot about MNSSHP so... How many people do you think just stay in? I don't mean to be a wet blanket for anyone, but if I'm paying that much money for less crowds I don't want extra people crowding the streets. (Here's a Mickey head so you remember that I'm nice )

Fireworks for parties aren't until 10:00, so even though I know you're joking, it would be VERY difficult to make dinner last three hours!

Not that I'm saying this site is reliable at all, but if this is for 2017 and the promotion ends on August 7th I would assume the start date for the promotion would be earlier

Now that I have figured out what MNSSHP means!! I realize it lands on our scheduled MK day! If we don't do the party how does that affect dining plans?! We have ADR at CRT at 6:55?

It looks like they are cutting off dinner hours for CRT on MNSSHP nights to 6:00pm!

Every day you look at on the calendar that falls on a MNSSHP it says 6pm.

Get there early, last year we waited close to two hours. But they were great characters so them and the pictures made it worth it.

This is what we do. One long more crowded day but have to hear the kiss goodnight!! We used to always do it the last day of our trip but we had to give up that tradition when we started doing longer trips and going into parks half day before drive home.

how bad would Friday dec 1st be? Crowd wise and such. Fridays seem to always be more crowded. I have two parties I want to go to. I was going to go on the 30th but now have to change it so.

1 we arrive Monday (pushing it maybe) and go to the Tuesday party, or we go to the Friday dec 1st party. Or we go Sunday.

I really hope it drops on a Monday like the last couple of years. I don't work on Mondays so I can stay up all night in Sunday with everyone someone said something about creating a place where everyone could go chat when the dis goes down for maintenance. Didn't they set up a facebook page for that last year?

We did start a chat but it wasn't on Facebook, it was some third party website. I can't remember the name of it though. I'm sure we can find something similar. I might try to look for something tomorrow.

They will actually escort you out of the park after dinner, so it isn't like you could wait and then stop along mainstreet.
