Unfortunately, FP+ doesn't work that way...

Soarin', Test Track and Frozen are all tier 1 choices. You can only choose one experience from tier 1.

After your initial 3 FP+ are used, you can only add one FP+ at a time. You can't add 3 more at once when you've already used your 3 initial choices.

You can add a 4th FP+ as soon as you scan your MagicBand and redeem the 3rd. You can do this using the MDE app and the 4th FP+ can be for an attraction in any park that still has FP+ availability. No need to wait until you hop to the next park to secure additional FP+.

So what you stated makes it even harder than what I thought other than being able to add the 4th FP right after the 3rd is used. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yes, harder than your original thought to get more FP+. But the legacy FastPass system didn't allow you to collect and hold 3 at a time either. FastPass+ is an improvement in that sense.

But once you used a tiered one FP, after using all 3, can you obtain another tiered one FP for a different ride/park?

You can't obtain two tier one FP+s in one day. I hope I'm mistaken because this really stinks for AK!

Last time I was in Epcot (February), I had FP+ for Soarin and two other rides. I was able to obtain my 4th FP for Frozen (by dumb luck).

Our last WDW trip (in 2014, how time flies) was our first experience with FP+. When park hopping, we always booked FP+ for late aft/early evening at our second park of the day, which would also give us time to hop to a water park if the afternoon was a little too hot. If you don't do that, you probably won't be able to do any headliners at your second park, at least not without a considerable wait.

On a day in which you are not park-hopping, get FP+ for the afternoon, particularly at water rides.
