Can I call the CRO and ask for better rates using a discount code even though I booked my trip using a travel agent?

I would call my travel agent. An earlier post by a travel agent said she used the codes all the time to save clients money!

1)See what the cancellation policy is on the agent reservation.
2) ask the agent to get the discount room with code.
3)check with CRO for personnal reservation based on code.

Go with the least expensive, money-saving, cheapest ressie. Make sure you have the discounted room locked down, before cancelling any reservations.

You can ask your travel agent to call and ask for you, but you cannot call CRO yourself to change your ressie. Once you have started with a TA, your TA must handle any changes that are made to your trip details.
