Port Orleans Riverside for $89 in May.

Mickey_Maniac,

Way to go! BTW what dates are you at the CBR? I may take you up on your free drink offer :D ……..

We stayed there are first time and it’s a wonderful resort. You’ll love it!

We are going to be at CBR from 4/29 to 5/5, I think...

As Deputy said, my wife thought I was crazy to spend so much time reading these threads. Now that I have saved us over $350, she is talking about upgrading to a different resort.

If I do end up staying at CBR, Mr Toad, you will be able to spot me in the crowd. I'll be the one with the extra cash burning a big ol' hole in my pockets.

Better save the drink money for the upgraded resort stay!!!!

Witch one are you think of upgrading to?

the Disney Club reservation number, and had them check for an $89.00 rate at the CBR, and I was told that I didn't qualify, but that the rooms were all gone anyway. When I asked about other Moderate hotels, he said they were full!! :(
I have 3 rooms booked for 8/26 thru 9/1 and really hoped to get the 89.00 rate. I then asked, if there were any other discounts that I could apply for, and he said if I was using the Disney club discount that was the best I could hope for. [which I did get upon booking the ressies a few months ago.]

Any help out there???

Isn't it time to go YET???

Call CRO, you get a much better deal. Go to http://www.marywaring.com/saveonwdw.htm. This is the site noted as Click Here at the top of the Resort Board. I saved $488 dollars on my trip in Aug for my disney Resort Hotels.

Do not give up. It may take several calls, but it sure is worth the effort. I got ASMu for $54 and AKL for $209 with Taxes included.

Hit it with the "Pixie Dust", Tink!
;)

Has any one else had any luck with the codes?

Later!

I was able to use the code to change my reservation at PO. I had originally used the Disney Club reservation system and called CRO asking about using the code to change my reservation. I fully expected to be told I couldnt do this, but I could!! It took about 5 minutes to do and I saved $375. I almost fell off my chair. I kept telling the CM - "That was too easy, are you sure it is OK?" I got my confirmation, it take about 12 days. I was nervous until it came and even called to check on it once and was told it was on its way. They told me on 2 occasions that there were no restrictions, no special state to be from or anything like that.

My DH also kept teasing me about spending so much time on the computer for this trip, but you should have seen his face when I told him I just saved $375! We are going 5/2 -5/7.

21 more days!!!!!!! <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz">

As a first timer to DW you all have helped me tremendously!! My husband just called and booked AS Music 9/15-9/21. For $49 using the codes I found on this website.

We were originally going to book the Discovery package through Disney unitl a friend gave me this site! Whew, glad we didn't do that because I would have REALLY overpaid!!

Again, thanks to all of you for the great advise.

You're Welcome,Twirn't Nothin' MAME!

That is just great. That is what these board are for IMHO!

Welcome to DIS!

:D ;)

I posted this on the resort board, but I think it should be here. I just called the WDW travel company and was told that I couldn't use the codes on my existing reservations (resort magic package, May 3-10) and that there were no rooms left (Port Orleans Riverside) at that price. Someone suggested calling Central Reservations and switching my deposit over to their system. Does anyone think those $89 rooms are still available?

Thanks in advance.

just got PO in mid July for a $99.00 rate. Saved enough to add another day to WDW vacation. If I can find a discount on tickets I'm hoping to add specials (character meals..ect) to the trip.

This board is GREEAAAAAT!!!!!
