:earseek: Wow! It looks like you reeeeallly enjoyed the food on your cruise! :mickeybar

I know I will probably have the same kind of pictures on our cruise next year! I only fear the let down afterwards of having to cook for ourselves again!

Dan.

LiserAnn,

LOL, yeah I am lucky to have a great hubby who also LOVES Disney! He had Mickey shirts and Mickey Ties for our formal and semi formal nights. He also wears Disney clothes ALL the time too! In fact, the night I met him, he was wearing a Mickey & Gang jean jacket, Tigger shirt and Tigger hat. I knew he was the MAN for me!!!!

He had never been to WDW or DL until he met me, and now he's addicted to theme park clothes LOL!!! I am sure that 80% of his closet is Disney clothes.

He flew to Houston on Sunday and when he went through security they all asked him if he was going to Disneyland :rotfl: He replied, ummm no, I always dress like this! :cool1:

Dan,

Yes, we really enjoyed the food, my husband in particular since he has hypoglycemia and needs to eat every 3 hours. I tell ya, he was in HEAVEN!!!!!! He had 2-3 entrees every night, it was so funny, we had to make room for him. Our table mates laughed at him!!

As for coming home, here's what my hubby said to me after I served our first meal upon returning from the cruise.. (this meal consisted of chicken, pasta, corn & bread, which is a big meal normally)

"Is that all there is???????"

:rotfl2:

I replied:

"Bite me sweetheart, this ain't no Disney Cruise!"

This was a daily thing for DH and I. Mid-afternoon, we stopped in for a cold frozen coffee drink, along with biscotti or apricot cookies or chocolate or oatmeal cookies...Mmm..

Pea-n-me, Witt was our server in March. He is very nice and fun.

I Noticed a lot of the food looks like a pretty exquisite type meal. are there simpler meals at the restaurants or most of them exquisite meals?

Stephanie

They do try to "present" the meals with style, but I never found the food "too
fancy". They do use different sauces but most food you will be familiar with. DCL does have your basic steak/chicken/fish with potatos or other side available each night as well if you are looking for more of just a "meat and potatos kind of meal".

The ship is a wonderful place to try new things...the great thing is if you order and are not real happy with it, just let your sever know and order something else...they are there to please and want you to be happy with your meal and enjoy your dining experience.

Yummy to my tummy! Those pics made me hungry and I just ate a snack. Thanks for all the great pics, now I can't wait for the food in August.

Here are some pictures from our cruise last year! :goodvibes
