Oh my! When I think about where I'll be going in 19days I find it very hard to contain my excitement!
Ive never cruised on DCL but last year did cruise 4nights on NCL.
I think Im more excited this time because I have half an idea what to expect. Please help me - Im finding it very hard not to open my mouth and jump up and down!

i have been on several cruises now, and each time i am almost excited as the first time. Researching, and finding out ahead of time through the board allows me to utilize my time on the ship as best as I can, and I know all the options before deciding on what to do...

I was excited the first time with DCL, but no where near what I am experiencing this time! Of course the first trip was just a "sampler"...a four day on the Wonder. This time it's seven lovely days on the Magic.:)

I'm with ya Barb! Only 28 more days for us!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

My first cruise on BRB, not very excited. It was my honeymoon and I was more concerned with planning, and more excited, about the wedding. I wasnt too thrilled about the whole idea of cruising(that was DH's idea).

2nd cruise, first on Disney I was excited! I knew what to expect, excited about DCL, I had just found these boards and we were going with my whole family, including my 2 kids. That turned out to be a rough trip with my 8 month old and a difficult 3.5 yo.

3rd cruise, DCL, just DH & me, I was ecstatic! I knew exactly how awesome a Disney cruise could be and this was our chance to do all the stuff we had wanted to do on our previous trip, but couldnt with the kids. Plus this was our first trip alone in 7 years(since the honeymoon)! I planned everything just about to the minute. We had a blast!

All I know is that each cruise gets me more excited. Before our first cruise I was excited; but wasn't sure what to expect. With #5 coming up next May I now KNOW what to expect and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
After #3 I found these Boards and it added soooo much to the enjoyment of our last cruise. Met a lot of great people on our 5/17 cruise and hope to meet more next May.

My first cruise, I could hardly contain myself. I planned obsessively for 7 months and was so excited I started to annoy people, I'm sure.

This time, I'm less than 3 months out and I'm not managing to muster much enthusiasm yet. This may just be due to other things in life at the moment though and the fact that I'm taking a trip to the UK in a couple of weeks. Maybe after that trip is over, I'll be more enthusiastic about the prospect of the cruise :)

I'm starting to think something is wrong with me because, if you ask anyone, they'll tell you that I LOVE the Disney cruise. I talk about it all the time. Still - not that excited yet. Dunno why.

Our Thanksgiving cruise will be #27, and I'm just as excited as the first time! Actually, probably more so since I love spending the holiday on the ship and since we know how great it will be. The excitement level never goes away, no matter how many times you cruise.

We have cruises DCL 6 times already, with #7 and #8 already booked for Jan and July of 2003.

We have also sailed on Carnival, Celebrity, RCCL, Princess and every time we sail I get very excited!!!!

Especially on DCL the excitements gets more and more intense because I know what to expect and know we will have a great time no matter what!!!

DCL keeps getting better!!!

I agree with many of you that DH and I were almost more excited the second time we cruised because we knew what to expect. We did and saw most everything we wanted to because we used the wonderful DIS boards tips.
