I honestly hate mentioning my allergy, I get so many comments about how weird it is, and that they have never met anyone else before with it. We sat with people we didn't know as it was just the two of us on the cruise, Disney was so respectful and discreet. It was amazing. I have never had a reaction on a Disney ship or in a Disney restauarnt.

I like hearing that DCL was respectful and discreet. Often on the boards it sounds like DCL makes a big deal of allergies and go out of their way to 'protect' the person with allergies. While I get it, it seems weird to me... I'm used to taking care of myself and being responsible for what I eat. I have multiple allergies (with a variety of symptoms, but none life threatening), but never mention it to DCL because I don't want them to go out of their way to 'protect' me, that's my job.
