In person they look fine. When we first walked in we we like OK, then the whole room grew on us. We are so used to the old rooms for many years that you don't always like change but this is very nice.

One issue, they never changed out any or the old ivory electrical outlets and light switches. Some are very loose. Also the old tired ac thermostat are still there.

Is there an additional bathroom in the suite? We liked the refurbed rooms also. I did notice the same thing, that they did half *** some things.

question i have for you bluer, can you take the keurig out from that pull out drawer and keep it on the dresser top?

Why must the flowers be so big? (it's my only complaint about the refurb, apart from it becoming kind of almost sort of generic)

well, i guess i will have to wait until i am in the king suite before i say much.


do see items not in the renovated room that i know i will be missing.

hopefully, some of the king suites will also have a tub/shower set up.

Thanks for posting the photos. That's really not going to grow on me...sad to see. Definitely glad we switched to PBH club.

The carpet is not totally flat. It has that 3d design to it.

As for the keurig you could possibly pull it out. I said the same thing that it's in a very bad spot. If we stay longer I'm pulling it out and put it back in the bedroom.

The bathroom is the same only one shower. Personally I don't like bathtubs anyways so it's perfect for me. Also the show heads are higher up than before and from a tall guy I like it.

They are pretty nice in person as photos give it a worse look. For us we stay between RPR and PBH so it's just a matter of which has the best rate and suite for our trip.

I'm glad to read that people like the flowers more in person. From the pics, I get the feeling like I'm in an old horror flick about plants that eat people!

It's a shame the king suite only holds 3 people. I do like the look of the refurbed rooms - lots of USB's!

Glad they look better in person. They don't really seem to go together in the pictures. The photo of the pull-out .... I am figuring that the centre cushion is just in the wrong spot?

the new digs i guess has to be seen in person to make a better impression on those that stay there regularly.

LOL, yep I removed that to see the pullout and put it back in the wrong spot. I wanted to take photos before our stuff was all over.

Yes, I believe one possibly 2 on club. We have had club but not on club floor in king suites. I have been in tower 1 with club and tower 3 on 6th floor.

This was my first stay at RPR.

What I do like is the tile border around the living room.

Tower 1 floors 7,6,5 are done. No construction anywhere else right now.
