Sharing Tickets

Has anybody shared tickets with other members of your group? We have 7-10 days planned, and would like to do Disney, SeaWorld, Universal, IOA, and some water parks. Obviously the 7day PHP is the best deal, if it is on special and the Orlando Flex ticket is also a great value, 14 (consecutive) days at 4 parks for @ $180 US through ticketmania.com. Problem is, buying all these tickets for a family of four would cost about $2200 Cdn, and that is out of the question for us. If one of the families travelling with us bought the PHP's, and the other bought the Orlando Flex tickets, could they trade the tickets part way through so that each family could see the things they wanted to see? Downside would be that they wouldn't be able to go together to the parks, but it would make for a more cost effective holiday. Is there any form of ID on the passes, or do you have to get stamped to come back in the same day? Is it ok to do this, as we would have more days and admissions than we would have time to use.

I think you just have to give your ticket, but Sea World you definetly have to sign, so that would be a problem! You sign the original ticket, then when you return, you must sign again!

LOL! I don't think it's a down side to split up. S

All of the Disney parks require a hand stamp to re-enter on the same day. As long as you do not have 2 different people wanting to visit WDW parks on the same day using the same pass you can get away with sharing. This will apply even if you leave one park and enter another. You will need the hand stamp from the park you left to gain addmitance to the next park. The reason for this is to prevent exactly what you are trying to do. By the exact definition of the rules, the ticket can only be used by one individual, until all uses are completed. If however, 2 different people use the ticket on 2 different days, WDW will have no way of tracing this for most admission media. I am not familiar with the tickets you mentioned, but some of the Disney tickets (eg annual passes) do have additonal security features built in (eg finger print scans) to prevent multiple people from using them on multiple days. This is usually limited to longer term passes.

Also, if you are staying at a hotel, some of the tickets are built into your room key, which may have a name and signature built in. This could make it difficult for trading between males and females.

Good luck!
