Summer is half over, no use in crying.
Enjoy the sunshine, daylight and all
for Autumn will be here in no time at all.
Tonight is baseball's showcase of talent
great fielders and pitchers and lots more to see
tune in at 7 Eastern on your local tv.
Whomever your team, good luck in the next half of the season
the pennant is calling, but with no rhyme or reason.
All the teams have a chance,
yes indeed they do,
but it all comes down to the final two.
Who will be there in October is anyone's guess
could be San Fran, or Baltimore, or Boston or Tampa.
Why for goodness sake it might even be Atlanta!
Enjoy the game and all it offers,
for after tonight the charge up the hill.
To the playoffs they run,
till all is said and done.

i always say, lets do that in real life.
