We're staying at the BWI for the first time this fall and I'm trying to decide which restaurant on the Boardwalk that I really want to try with my family. I'm leaning towards Spoodles because the food sounds yummy and interesting. Has anyone dined here recently?

Hi

I have only eaten at Spoodles for breakfast, but I loved it. We had the earliest PS, the place was empty and we were next to the open kitchen area. Both the food & service were great and it's on the "do again" list for next month. :)

Have fun!

My DS and I absolutely love the breakfast at Spoodles. Our favorite is their breakfast pizza which we used to share...NO MORE!!! Now we get one each along with something else. We have found that if we eat a large breakfast we can make it through until early dinner with just a snack.
All the breakfast items at Spoodles are really good. This is a nice quiet place to start your day.

We had dinner there last Jan. and loved it, everyone found things
they liked , we did tapas, flatbread and deserts. The food, service
and atmosphere were great!

DD15 and I ate there for dinner when we were there in early June. We had never eaten there before. We loved it! The entire meal was top notch; the meal, the service, the atmosphere. Give it a try and see what you think!

BTW, after our dinner, we rented a surrey bike and rode around the complex. Whatever I ate for dinner was burned off! DD15 was too busy flirting with some teenagers (who "escorted" us) and only helped pedal when we went over the bridges. The young men offered to help us over the bridges (we got a severe case of the giggles), but since I figured they would dump my body somewhere (!) so they could have my daughter, I declined their "help".

In other words, the surrey bikes are fun after-dinner entertainment!

My husband and I have had dinner at Spoodles twice and each time we loved it. Be sure to get a PS for dinner. Each time we went they were pretty busy.

Enjoy!!!:D

Spoodle's is our favorite restaurant at WDW! We have eaten there every trip since they opened. If we are at WDW 5 days or more, we usually eat there twice.

The cheese and garlic flatbread is to die for! We love the pastas, the filet, the pork loin, and the baked chicken with couscous. They have a dessert tower that has several yummy things like chocolate cake and cheesecake. Save room if you can!:D

Sounds great! Thanks for the reviews. I'm looking forward to trying Spoodles in October!

Spoodles is the one restaurant that we always have to visit on every trip. The food and service is always top notch. I had there salmon on our last trip and it was the best I had ever had. Make sure you try one of there flatbreads for starters, they are great.

Spoodles is very good, also if you need a quick meal while at the BW,t ry ESPN, sandwiches are great and very fillng. Also have a real good breakfast buffet or menu items at Yacht Club Galley which is only a 5 min. boat ride away, or 10 minute walk from BW. Have been pleased with food at all these eateries. We go to Spoodles every time we go down to Disney, it is one of our favorites. Try the shrimp appetizer, its amazing. (well actually everything we've ordered from there is :D ).

We haven't had dinner there in a while..although when we did it was excellent.

We had breakfast there this past weekend. It was even better than usual. They have a great manager there..who really cares about the food coming out of the kitchen in the morning.

Is Spoodles open for lunch? If not, what time do they open for dinner?

Thanks, T&B

i didn't know what place to choose with my child and our babysitter. now i am so glad i picked spoodles. i thought it would be an ok place for kids and now i'm looking forward to going myself. thanks for the reviews. terry

Spoodles is one of the few Disney restaurants that is consistently excellent each time you go.

sigh...... brings back memories of our last day at WDW, we ate breakfast at Spoodles then rented a surrey bike before heading to the airport.

Food was great, actually ate breakfast there twice.

Surrey bike was hysterically fun! I laughed so much and had such fun. On our last loop around the lake we stopped on the top of the S/D bridge and wondered why we had to go back to the "real world".

:earsgirl:

:wave2:

I've had dinner there several times. This past February I ate dinner there twice and breakfast once all in one week! I also ate dinner there in July, it was excellent every time and I highly suggest it as a must do.

Is this restaurant casual? Would it be good for a 3 and 5 yr old. Where is this rest. I have never been to the boardwalk so all I know is that it is near Epcot.

We're planning on going to Spoodles on our MGM day. We'd want to boat to Boardwalk, eat at Spoodles, and then return to MGM in enough time to watch Fantasmic (8pm showing). If our dinner ressies are for 5:30 will this give us enough time to eat and then make back to MGM in enough time to get seats for Fantasmic? It will be a Wednesday the end of this month, so we shouldn't need to get Fantasmic seats too early. How long should we allow to get to Boardwalk on the boat?

Thanks, T&B
