Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Opening Day *August 29* Planning Thread

soft openings times/days are not released to the public, that's the point of a soft opening, so you never know. They might just open the land today, they might not

So were waiting at the bus stop for YC just now and the CM said they have been updated this morning. He highly recommends having the updated app in order to get the boarding passes, which he couldn't actually say the word "boarding passes". He actually said this information wasn't supposed to be leaked yet. Also said that security isnt supposed to allow camping out, so take that for what it's worth. I asked him to define "camping out" and he wouldnt elaborate. At one point he said he was told the parking lot wasn't opening until 6am? He said the buses were supposed to start running at 4 am. He acted like his words were the most updated as of this morning.

Right? In February of this year a bus CM at CSR was telling an older couple all about the new Skyliner and how it would connect CSR to DHS

He’s a bit out of date. Flyers given to some guests at hotels talk about the boarding groups, though perhaps those were supposed to go out this morning- and why would the parking lot open at 6am for a officially schedule 6am opening that will probably be more like 5:30?

We are at the Wilderness Lodge and a CM told us that the buses to DHS will start running at 3am. I don't know how accurate that is. There are signs posted for special Galaxy Edge activities here, mostly at the pool, but nothing yet about tomorrow's plans for SWGE opening day at the park.

So we had been considering not arriving at 12am and trying to use the 4:55pm Oga's reservation to get in later in the afternoon, but the front desk CM that just checked us into AOA literally talked us into going back to our original campout plan. She was concerned about the entirety of Hollywood Studios being blocked off at a certain point whether you have a reservation or not. So it seems we won't be getting much sleep tonight! She did tell us the parking lot opens at midnight.
