70 minutes (mostly walking) since my last post, so I'm up to 405/600.
Well, we already did Frozone, so I can't offer him up to improve your weather. How about some generic pixie dust from Peter Pan's sidekick Tinker Bell? In the 1953 film Peter Pan, she was designed and animated by Marc Davis, one of Disney's Nine Old Men; the live-action reference model was Margaret Kerry, who spent about six months on a mostly empty soundstage with a few props, performing the actions that would be animated.
Tink, who was a silent character until the movie Tinker Bell, is one of Disney's most iconic characters (described in Disney Wiki as one of the "main spokes-characters," along with Mickey Mouse and Jiminy Cricket). She has her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Tink works! Love that little fairy. Thanks for the super cool info about her! : )

Yay me for turning Gargoyles WISH Green!
Pain and Panic are shape-shifting demons who are minions of Hades in Hercules. They are based on the Greek gods Deimos (god of terror) and Phobos (god of panic), sons of Ares and Aphrodite. According to the Disney Villains Wikia, "Pain and Panic play the essential role in any villain's quest for power- they constantly unwittingly mess things up and give Hades outlets to vent his anger." Bobcat Goldthwait voiced Pain, and Matt Frewer voiced Panic.
Adding 50 minutes from last night new total: 565/600
+20 of walking the dog last night.
Congratulations to Shrfleen for reaching Rizzo the Rat Red!
One of the most dapper sidekicks has to be Jiminy Cricket (another of those "spokes-characters" mentioned the other day). Pinocchio's conscience sports a top hat, tailed coat, vest, and umbrella. For the 1940 film, he was animated by Ward Kimball, another of Disney's Nine Old Men, and his voice was provided by Cliff Edwards (including singing "When You Wish Upon a Star"). His name comes from a polite euphemism for "Jesus Christ" that was used in several movies of the time.
One of my favorite Disney things is (was ) the Wishes fireworks show at MK, which hearing Jiminy always evokes for me.
Runners-up in the dapper department include Abu, the monkey from Aladdin, whose outfit mirrors Aladdin's vest and fez, and Timothy Q. Mouse from Dumbo with his bandleader's uniform.
250 since last check in

Congratulations Twilight Sparkle and Shrfleen for exceeding goal and turning Gargoyles WISH Green!
Our last sidekick is Dug, the golden retriever from Up whose collar allows him to talk. Dug has some great lines, but of course the best has to be "Squirrel!" He is voiced by Bob Peterson, who is also a co-director and co-writer of Up.
Here's a YouTube clip of Dug in real life.
I'll be back tomorrow night to add any final minutes and wrap up the month. Thanks everyone!
Dug in Real Life made my week! I had the biggest smile while watching it. Thanks, sophy1996! Up is my favorite Pixar movie, and I love Dug. I'm glad he was the last sidekick.
80 minutes of horse chores and riding to close out the month - it was a gorgeous day for it
Thank you for hosting, sophy1996! Great job, as always.
That. was. adorable! I love it so much!!
25 minutes since my last post, for a final total of 430/600.
(Not a stellar month for me, but better than nothing. )
Thanks so much for hosting!
Glad you both enjoyed it! I got quite a few laughs when I found it.
Our team total was Pascal Purple, 69%. But adjusting for folks who didn't consistently report, our team total for September was WISH Green, 106%!!! Yay team!
Thanks again, and see you in the October thread!
