The Alaska Wonder-Land Adventure Cruise -August 4, 2014 -ROLL CALL!!

Hey Jennifer!!!!!! What's up girl?

Hi Kelly! Finally, we are going to Alaska!!!:banana::banana: I remember talking about it with you in Castaway Cay. Seems like yesterday, only 3 years later :rolleyes1 This will be awesome :cheer2:

We booked! We booked! Yay! :cool1: Now hopefully we can make it work and go. But we have a room and that's a start.

We are coming with you!!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:
It will be my son and I. He will be 7 then. Our table mates from our Hawaii cruise should be joining us and possibly another friend and her son. Woo hooo! Can't wait to discuss excursions and plans!!!!

Welcome! welcome! :cool1:

Good morning from the West Coast!

brrrrrr!!!!! :cold:

I am checking out this cruise to xfer my cruise from this year .
Budget is a little short but It will happen next year after missing out on the past couple years.

Hi all

Just moved my reservation to this cruise
Its me (ed) my dw(beth) and our dd(Caitlin)

At time of cruise we will be dh-57. dw -57 dd - 17

Dinner - early seating.

Bump for more to see

Thanks!! I know this cruise is a year and a half away, but I am super excited about it!!! It will be weird going on a cruise in a cooler environment instead of a warmer environment. And it will be even weirder not stopping at Castaway Cay on the last day. At least we won't have to worry about being on the computer 120 days out at 11:00 pm SHARP Central time to fight to book a cabana! :rotfl2: And while I like the new ships, it will be nice to be on the classic ship again....sometimes it's just downright torture to have to walk back and forth on the Dream or Fantasy!! :faint:

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for a first time Alaskan cruiser? I'm gonna start doing some research this weekend. Starting with the link you shared, Jennifer! Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I am feeling the same way! Very excited and want to start planning NOW! Issue is we have a trip to Disney in June with the grand kids, a wedding in August and a new grand baby coming any day yet! LOL

I will need to keep Alaska simmering until September ;) That said, please share any nuggets you find!

caitlinsdad - Thank you SOOOO much for posting the links to all the info! I'm already starting my research today!! Glad I am because it's slightly overwhelming! I found three excursions I want to do all at Ketchican. That's not good!!! LOL

Glad to I have been trying to take this cruise since 2011. Short on money in past, but this year it begins to turn around.

I'm excited about being on a classic ship! :cheer2: I just talked to my aunt who lives in Anchorage, she says it's warm to her in August, but it may be cold for us! Also, I was told that there are lots of mosquitoes in August...:scared:

Well they usually come out in the afternoon and we won't be out too late. Long pants and light long sleeves are in order though! At least there shouldn't be any mosquitos on the ship! I hope! Lol.

We're in. Both of us, which is me (Dan) and my DW (Sue). Along with all y'alls. We are very much looking forward to it!

We are considering today a "training day" for Alaska. We have about 6" of snow so far, and it is coming down at about 1" per hour. We will see how much we get tomorrow after it ends.
