I had watched the Bachelor when Brad had DeAna on the line and dropped her. And so I watched a portion of the DeAna saga as well. I thought for sure she was going to pick one of the other three finalists when she picked him.

We had friends over for supper the other night who had mutual friends with Brad in Austin. I hear he is quite into himself.

Can't say I'm surprised to find out they broke up. I feel sorry for him though because I think he really was into her.

Her choice actually makes sense in hindsight. She was dumped twice on national TV by men she did want, (Brad & Graham.) And, she has parent issues, as I recall, leaving a big unfillable hole in her. I thought it wasn't going to work out with either Jessie or Jason. Yest, for her, if she chose the safer bet who was into her, Jessie, over Jason, then she'd have control as to if/when she'd want to leave. There was risk with Jason, as he might choose to end it because of his son. Instead, she gets to be the Dumper, instead of the Dumpee.

And, if you watch the extratv web clip, Jessie is still too naive, wondering what he did to make her stop loving him. He just doesn't get yet, that it had nothing to do with him. I hope in time, for his sake, and his ability to love again, that he does realize that someday. Maybe, when he meets someone who does really love him, and not what he represented, he will understand the difference.
