...or do you eat a banana once in a while, if the wind is right and your leg is cramping?
I don't really think about Potassium. I don't even know what foods have potassium other then bananas.
+++++++
Yesterday I took DD to the orthopedic for her foot. The doctor really made me mad. First he tried to tell me that it was not broke (not now but back when she originally hurt it). I had to tell him it was and that he showed me the x-ray showing that it was. I don't think he went back far enough to see the right scan. I think he was looking at the scan from when she sprained her other ankle last year. He tried to get me to take to to PT again. This would be the 3rd round. I told him no. It hasn't worked in the past it is not going to work this time around. I then asked it this issue (she has arterial ankle impingement) was cause by the brake. He said no that some ankles are just looser then others. I disagree with this as she never had an issue with the ankle until she broke it. I then asked him about an MRI since he has mentioned this in the past. He didn't want to do without doing PT first and that it is usually only used in preparation for surgery. I had to tell him again that she has done that twice. Maybe we need to go that route because what we have been doing is not working. After all this she will have the MRI next week. She is also in a boot for now and taking anti-inflammatory meds. We also have some exercises to do at home. We will see how things go but we might be looking for another dr. soon.
Today work is a bit off. We do not have internet on the floor that I am so I am working in an empty office upstairs. It is so quite. I think I would like to move my office up here. Having a cubical stinks sometimes.
Yeah, pretty much this.
I actually hate bananas...unless I reeeeally want one. (It's a strange phenomenon, I know!)
But I figure there's potassium in my multi-vitamin, and in the "low sodium salt" I buy for DH, so I must usually get enough, and then crave a banana if I don't??
My woohoo is that I'm almost finished with packing up stuff from my classroom for the 2nd round of moving. For those that weren't in the group a month or two ago, I teach kindergarten and my school is being renovated next year. So for one year, we are moving to a school that just closed last year. And our principal has asked up to start packing up and moving in shifts, so it's not all at the end of the year. They want to be able to start construction the week after school lets out. That is a difficult task to pack up stuff before the year is over because I need to know exactly what I need to to keep for the remainder of the year. And we don't have access to the other building yet. So if i pack something and need it, I can't really get to it. But I tried to take the time to plan out the rest of the year so that I would know what I need. And I feel like I'm in a good place right now with a majority of my stuff packed and everything that remains is stuff that I need to finish out the year. Oh and did I mention that the last day of school (the day that EVERYTHING needs to be packed) is also my sister's graduation. So just a little added stress, I mean motivation, to get as much packed now as possible!So, what are we all celebrating this week for Woohoo Wednesday?
I don't have a true whoohoo, other than coming back here and admitting I dropped the ball. I also dropped the ball on my eating habits and regained weight and that feels really crap. But admitting where I am at and that it's going to take some time feels like a whoohoo moment.

Sometimes doctors can be such a pain! I have a friend who kept having her replacement knee slip out of alignment. The doctor who did it said "looks fine to me": she got a second opinion, but the doctor was in the same clinical group, so he said "looks like Bob did a great job". Then it popped out on her and she fell breaking her hip... the doctor who fixed the hip said, "ya, that's a bad knee" and he's going to fix it for her after she recovers from the hip surgery.

I am working upstairs in an office that has a window and I have a bathroom close by. It is so nice to have some natural lighting. In my normal area we have studio lighting with no windows. Only about 3 weeks before we move and will be in a much better location.
Not great news today. My co-work got her diagnosis today. It is indeed Hodgkin Lymphoma

I abandoned a monthly group I was suppose to lead and I came to apologize. I am really sorry. Something happened and it was a big shock. Big enough to make me completely forget about internet forums. It wasn't weeks after I came to some sort of normality and I realized what have happen.
I am sorry guys. I am happy to see the monthly forums are still going

Tuesday Topic: Potassium!
Ok, it's almost 11pm here, which means it's Wednesday SOMEWHERE...
I have to do my workouts first thing in the morning too. Otherwise, there's no way I can be sure to fit them in! But I've also found that I love starting the day that way! Puts me in a good mood and I feel accomplished right from the start!I’ve gotten myself up early 3 times this week to go to the gym before the chaos of the day starts.
