This info thread is about Legoland in California.

I thought I would start a thread for Legoland coupons and discounts. The most common coupon is the "Buy 1 Adult, get 1 Child Free" and are regularly given out for various restaurant promotions or inside the Lego Club magazine that you can also get for free. Please post any info about Legoland coupons or discounts and I will add them to this original post.

Expiration Dates & How to Use - I believe the general rule is for tickets purchased online and printed at home is that they have a 1 year expiration date from the date that you purchased the tickets. Just print out and hold onto the tickets for your future trip or save the email to access and print out later. Once you have your bar-coded printed ticket, you can go straight to the ticket scanners at the turnstiles and skip the ticket windows entirely.

General Online Purchase Promo June 2014 - Online advance purchase tickets are currently offering 2 days for the purchase of 1 for Hopper tickets.
Legoland Only: Buy your ticket for a specific date at least 7 days in advance, get $7 off, between 2-6 days, get $3.50 off. Some days on the calendar are shown as not available to purchase. Noticed something new called a Flexi Ticket. It is valid for up to 1 year from the date you purchase online but it costs $2 more than the current walk up gate price. I suppose it is meant as a way to lock in a price in case the prices go up more than $2 over the coming year?
Legoland & Sea Life or Legoland & Waterpark: Same advance purchase discount as last year: $15 off if purchased 7+ days in advance, $7.50 off booked 2-6 days in advance. Flexi Ticket available for $2 more than current walk up gate price.

6/2/14 Update! - Major update! Thank you everyone for bearing with me as I try to come back quarterly to update the OP with new info. I have checked through all the old info and links and make sure they are have all the correct information. BIG thank yous to atmail35 and eileenkeeney for the McDonalds ticket purchase link and the very valuable buy 1 Adult get 1 Adult ticket free link! Currently the general online ticket purchasing from the main Legoland ticket page is having a bonus added 2nd day free with discounted prices and a special get 5 days for the price of 1 day at the gate price. (This is the same 5 for 1 ticket offer as the Wild at Work ticket link from earlier last year.) No info on when these bonus days ticket offers will end. Go LA Card ticket prices increased. Moved the old prices to the archive for historical reference. Costco Go San Deigo Card ticket prices increased also but they are still a better deal than the 3 day Go San Diego card bought directly from the Go San Diego website. 3/7/14 Update! - Thank you to those who have posted some new deals and info! Stop by McDonalds for the current LEGO Movie Happy Meal which includes a B1AG1C Free coupon (thank you atmail35)! Also, it sounds like some of the Southern California Costcos carry a 3 month Legoland membership for $79.99 (thank you the donut). You might like to call ahead and find out if you are headed there soon. Like most Costco products, these are probably available on a seasonal basis and not year-round. I've added a new link to a B1AG1C free online coupon which also has access to purchase tickets at other Legoland parks. For those of you with an odd number of visitors who can't make the most of a B1AG1C free deal, I've also posted a link good for 40% off a single ticket! 9/30/13 Update! - Check post #197 for info on Halloween events at Legoland California including the Oct 4th Vampire world record attempt and Brick or Treat Saturday night party info. Post #197 Just went through and checked all the links and updated all the ticket info. There is a new ticket purchase option on the Legoland website. You can purchase your ticket and have a 1 year expiration date on it but the ticket costs more. Does not look like much of a deal to me especially compared to the Buy 1 Adult get 1 Child free deals. 5/27/13 Update! - I came back from my Legoland Trip on 4/13/13 and we used the Buy 1 Adult, get 1 Child free 1 day tickets from the RedTri link below which includes admission to both Legoland and Sea Life Aquarium on the same day. We were able to see everything and ride our favorites more than once but had to skip some rides and the 4D movie. I thought 1 day was plenty but people with younger kids would probably enjoy being able to spread things out over 2 days. Compared to Disneyland, I felt the rides had longer lines for less exciting rides. We all had fun but I don't think we'll need to go back again on a future Disneyland trip. Updated expiration date on $10 off coupon. The buy direct discounts are still as stated from the previous April update of buy 5 days for the price of 1 and get 10-20% off if you purchase in advance.

I updated the 1st post with new discount ticket information. Also the latest issue of Lego Club Magazine Setp/Oct 2012 edition has a B1AG1C coupon that expires on 3/31/13.

I currently have 3 Buy 1 Adult, get 1 Child Free coupons from the Lego Club Magazine. One expires on 12/31/12 and two expire on 3/31/13. They are good at Legoland in California or Florida.

Turns out that it was discounted tickets. $56 1 day legoland admission PLUS 2nd day free! That is the cheapest I had EVER seen it! We were needing to figure out what to do on another day since disney doesn't offer 6 days anymore so it looks like we will be taking advantage of the 2nd day free.

I do believe they change the offer on that website every so often because the first time it was a BOGO free. I would keep that link and inform people that the offer through that site does change so they can check back every so often to see if something different pops up

Thank you for this thread! Someone on another board mentioned that she had found Costco yearly passes in the San Diego area before Christmas one year and that they were less than a 1 day ticket. If anyone sees that (I'm not in CA), I would love to know.

Just wanted to clean up the list and post an update. sgrap, I haven't gotten a PM from you yet with your address info so as soon as I get that, I can mail my last 3/31/13 coupon out to you.

ijramey and Ginger - I have 1 coupon that expires on 12/31/12. Alternately, there are a couple of deals active right now that also expire on the same date. If you know you will be in Legoland before the end of the year, one of these deals may work for you just as well as, or better than, the coupon. If you have other details about the number of people in your party and what type of admission you are wanting to get, maybe we can help you figure out if one of the other current deals is a better choice over the coupon.

I appreciate the contributions keeping this thread alive. I hope that we will get more people in here that may have coupons or info to share.

Hello! My daughter just started asking about going to Lego Land. We plan to be down there next October. How long are tickets good if I buy them now? I have the coupon but I do not want to end up with expired tickets. Thanks!

I am sure the coupon from this Lego magazine would not work for when we are thinking about going. Can I mail it to someone?

First time poster here and was so glad to find this thread. I have a couple of bogo coupons expiring Dec 31/12 and would love to find someone who can put them to good use. I have both a Legoland buy one adult, get one child free and a buy one LL/Sealife Hopper, get one free (adult or child).

The current list of people looking for coupons doesn't have anyone with a pre-Dec 31 date but perhaps there's someone out there who could use it? Just let me know...
