GASP!!! who hates dolewhips lol,it's ok I can't stand school bread n loads of ppl go nuts for those so I get it.

Hey wanted to stop by and say I could not believe the number of cars we saw parked at the three resorts we stayed at 2 weeks ago that had Cuyahoga county license plates.

Hi ! :welcome: It's funny you say that. Joe and I were looking to see if we could see the Cuyahoga County number on all of the Ohio plates that we saw! This was the first year that we've seen a LOT of them!!!

awe that is so sweet.I can't wait to get on with this tr I'm really looking forward to it

Hi ! Thanks! We really had an awesome time and I can't wait to write this report! I'll be more excited once I get our PP pics!!!

Thanks for reading.

My plan for today was MK at rope drop. Now, MOST of the time, I am the most organized Disney planner you will ever meet. Seriously. Binder with info, laminated cards attached to my backpack with ADR's, touring plans and even what the heck I am going to eat at each place I've scheduled a meal. Yeah, that's me...usually.

Soooo, this trip, I made a HUGE mistake. I didn't check park hours closer to our departure date. :worried:

I got Joe up at some un-holy hour and told him we NEEDED to get going....as in NOW. Told him that the park opened at 8 and I wanted to be there for rope drop because it was our ONLY chance to see it this trip. :rolleyes1

We hauled butt outta there and headed over to MK. No breakfast for you dude...GET UP!!!!!!!!!!!

DisneyFeb2013491_zpsbe5ebf2d.jpg

We parked at the TTC and then did the whole, "do you wanna take the boat or the monorail thing."

Continued..........

We decided to take the monorail over this time.

DisneyFeb2013501_zps0e4d731d.jpg

DisneyFeb2013505_zps0706982d.jpg

Once we arrived at MK, we noticed that there really wasn't anyone there. Ooops. Yeah, MK didn't open for another hour! YIKES! There were no peeps anywhere...except for a few that had breakfast ADR's.

We went through bag check and I could tell that Joe was really frustrated with me. There wasn't a place for him to sit because everything had just been hosed off and was still super wet. I could tell that his back and leggs were sort of bothering him...with the long drive a couple of days back and not much rest since then. I just held my breath and hoped that he'd get into the "magic" with me of just BEING there...period.

I took advantage of the time that we had and took a few pictures.

I took advantage of not having a stampede behind me and took this picture. I think it says it all for me.

DisneyFeb2013511_zps706acb7f.jpg

Joe had sort of gotten over being upset with me for my lack of planning skills by this time. He told me that he bet he know which family would be opening the park that morning. He said that he was watching as a CM came out and approached a family and asked if they wanted her to take their picture for them....being early and not having PP peeps out and all. Once the pictures were taken, she then escorted them into the park. Sure enough, they opend the park that moring.

I really, truly enjoy the opening show at MK. It is a must do for me every trip. I listen to the music at work to start my day too....welcome, welcome, welcome...........

Hi

Jenn did look stunning, didn't she? :thumbsup2

How funny, love school bread. :lmao:

My original plan for breakfast this morning was to go to Main Street Bakery. We went there in 2011 with our friends Stefy and Dave for the first time for breakfast and loved it. Can you imagine, it took us YEARS to finally go there. :coffee:

I decided on the Tomrrowland Noodle Station...you know, the place that is open "seasonally," although I have been to Disney many times, in all but 2 months out of the entire year and have never seen them open. LOL

We actually enjoyed our breakfast there. I wish they'd keep this place open more than just "seasonally."

DisneyFeb2013600_zps592e8180.jpg

We both got coffee as well (remember, no coffee pot at POP?) Joe was finally happy. He wasn't so happy to be an hour early for MK opening and not a place to get any coffee.

Our first stop was Buzz. I did of course stop and take a couple of pictures along the way.

DisneyFeb2013604_zpsacbb9f4e.jpg

DisneyFeb2013605_zps072db348.jpg

Joe and I have both scored 999,999 in the past more than once, but not this time. OMG, we stunk BIG TIME! It never fails too, I get the dang gun that doesn't work...this time, as evident by my score of O...yes, zero. Oh well, it was still fun.

Next we decided to head over to Storybook Circus. I wanted to wait for Jenn to get there but I got sooo excited, we decided to go back and check it out.

We were going to go here first, but I was too excited to wait!

DisneyFeb2013603_zps64ee3ce3.jpg

Next up......I'll admit, I hate the circus and am horrified of clowns. How did I do at Storybook Circus?

Hi

Yay for the weekend!! That means I get to scrapbook and DIS. I'm hoping to get an update done today.

If there are any lurkers out there, I'd love to hear from you!

Hi...I am joining along and all caught up.

Jenn's wedding looked amazing (which I knew it would). She looked absolutely beautiful and the four of them look so happy, it could become a fairytale movie! I am so happy for them!

I am not brave enough to drive to Florida yet. A very very long drive. I find it hard to drive for 3-4 hours let alone to drive 20-24 hours...yikes!

We love Pop, one of our fav's. POFQ and AKL is one of our fav's too...lol

Boma is awesome! We tried it for the first time this past trip and it will be a must do on every trip for now on!

Illuminations from R&C is absolutely amazing! We will definitely do that again. And the food was pretty good too!

Love your pics and TR! Can't wait to read more....

This looks delicious!
I am enjoying all of your good pictures. :)

Hi ,

Thanks for reading. :littleangel: Breakfast wsa delicious! I was pleasantly surprised. I really wasn't expecting them to be a good as they were.

Hi and :welcome:. Glad to have you.

Sounds like we like the same resorts. lol

I really do love Illuminations from R&C. I think that we'd likely go there even if we didn't love the food. LOL.

The drive wasn't bad actually .... says the one that didn't even drive a mile. :rotfl:

We decided to check out Storybook Circus. I'll admit, I hate clowns and all I thought of was "man, I hope that place isn't filled with clowns...that would suck." I would have likely run away screaming. lol

Here are a few pictures that we took while we walked around. We didn't ride Dumbo this time, as I wanted to wait for Jenn. Mostly, we did alot of browsing.

More pics of Storybook to come......we went back a bit later with Jenn.

We decided after walking around in Storybook Circus that we'd check out Under the Sea. The sign said that we had a 20 minute wait but honestly, it took 15 minutes to walk to through the queue! There wasn't even enough time to snap pictures....we were moving so fast.

I love what they did here but if I am honest, I am a little disappointed. It's like the Nemo ride at Epcot...sorta. I don't know what I was expecting though, but for some reason, that wasn't it.

We got PP pics taken here, but they didn't show up on our card. I was really bummed about that. Poop....

We then moved to Enchanted Tales with Belle. The wait was 50 minutes but we didn't mind. I was a bit worried about Joe though, having to stand for 50 minutes straight. He did ok, so I was glad.

Wow, what an amazing job they did with this. From the wardrobe, to the mirror to Lumiere, it was amazing. It was very much worth the wait!

DisneyFeb2013695_zps420c43a5.jpg

I didn't take many pictures because we knew we'd be going back with Jenn a little bit later.

I started to get hungry so we stopped at Gaston's for hummus and chips.

We also checked out the Village Gift Store before moving on.

DisneyFeb2013785_zpsbde8e015.jpg

Next, we moved on to Pooh, home of the "puffs" as Kayla would say. More to come on that later.

Next up, Philharmagic. Anyone that knows me, knows how much I truly love this attraction. I really feel like I'm "at Disney" once I get here.

DisneyFeb2013746_zps981ab429.jpg

DisneyFeb2013747_zpsb74c24cd.jpg

Next, we moved on to Peter Pan. Joe decided to use his assistance card here since he was tiring out and we still had a long way to go.

DisneyFeb2013748_zps38e6f6ea.jpg

I still wonder how high up we actually are in this ride. It was years before I even opened my eyes while riding. LOL

Next up was it's a small world. Funny story, we were in line and started talking with the people behind us. They were wondering what Disney does with all the coins that people throw into the water. We moved on to football next, since the Super Bowl was soon and "our team" wasn't playing. The guy had on a Steeler's hat, and we're fans as well. They asked if we lived there and we said we didn't but that Joe grew up there. We said we were from Cleveland. The wife then said that she went to Lakewood High School, which is where I went! Yep, it's a small world after all, isn't it???

As usual, I really enjoyed it's a small world. I don't even care that the song gets stuck in my head for 3 months afterwards.

We then made our way to Joe's favorite place, the Haunted Mansion. We used the regular queue and there was really no wait. Again, it went so fast that I wasn't able to take picutres. Whenever we go into HM, I think of my mom, who calls it "the smelly ride." I think they need to do something with the queue in there though. As soon as those doors open, people stampede to get on and it's ridiculous. I am waiting for someone to get trampled.

It was time to meet Jenn so we waited near Hall of Presidents for them. I read about the Liberty Bell while we waited.

DisneyFeb2013752_zpsa8e16f8f.jpg

They had done the Pirate League and all looked so cute.

DisneyFeb2013763_zps128009f9.jpg

DisneyFeb2013758_zps71838d80.jpg

We decided that Hall of Presidents would be next. I really enjoy HOP, epecially when the president's names are called. No clue why, but I love it.

After Hall of Presidents, we went back to Peter Pan again with Jenn and family. I tried again to figure out how high up we were....still have no clue.

Jenn had not been to the new Fantasyland yet, so we decided to head back that way.

DisneyFeb2013769_zpscb33fe3f.jpg

Under the Sea was first. This time I got to take a few pictures.

Beka ! I'm so glad that we had a chance to meet you, Kyle and the boys! We had a great time, didn't we?

It was super fun! I wish we could have spent more time together, but I didn't want to impose!

Hi

Yay for the weekend!! That means I get to scrapbook and DIS. I'm hoping to get an update done today.

If there are any lurkers out there, I'd love to hear from you!

I'm so glad it's the weekend! Or just to have a few days off with the kids. We went to Legoland yesterday & froze (it was 22+ MPH winds coming off a lake - yikes!) I've been applying to jobs right & left, getting my license transferred, & shopping for houses. And all the while scheming to get to WDW as many times as possible in the next 20 days or so.

Looking forward to reading more!

I love the details in the Little Mermaid queue. Did you notice they play "Whale of a Tale" from 20000 Leagues? Nice tribute.

I knew Joe was a good guy, but especially so now that I know HM is his favorite! :thumbsup2

I thought the same thing about the Little Mermaid ride, that it reminded me of Nemo in Epcot. But I did like the que, lots of details.

HM is my fav too and we loved going thought the interactive area until we followed a boy in there that had his hands down his pants for a good 5 min, that is when we decided to go though the short cut...lol. Didn't want to follow him in there, touching everything. I totally agree about the stampede. It is scary with little kids especially when there was big guys pushing and shoving their way through. Crazy!!

Great pics!!

There was no way you would have been imposing! We would have loved it if you could have stayed longer.

I hope you get to WDW as much as possible before the move. :)

I totally missed the Whale of a Tale!

Yeah, HM is definitely his fav.

Oh man, I don't think I'll ever go into the interactive area again now. LOL Germ city!!!

Our next stop was going to be Ariel’s Gratto so that we could meet her. I can’t remember why, but we never made it there. I think the line was too long.

Jenn and the family were ready for a snack so we headed back to Gaston’s.

Next it was back to Pooh for all of us. Kayla was obsessed with the “puffs” as she called them….the chubby stuffed balls of Pooh and friends. I think she got her first puff of the trip then.

DisneyFeb2013738_zpsc9456f01.jpg

DisneyFeb2013727_zps90b83ee6.jpg

We then went back to Storybook Circus so that Jack could ride Barnstomers. The wait was insane….and I mean insane. Jack, Kayla and Bob waited in line while Jenn, Joe and I shopped for a bit. We then convinced Joe to ride Dumbo with us. The wait was 100 minutes long which wasn’t possible for Joe so we used the GAC here. By this time of the day, his meds had worn off and he forgot to give me an extra pill for him to bring that day.

DisneyFeb2013794_zpsee619cbb.jpg

DisneyFeb2013793_zpsfb6456d2.jpg

I rode with Jenn and Joe was behind us. It took what it felt like for-evah to get our dang Dumbo to fly. We thought ours was broke…..lol, but it turns out that it wasn’t. By the time we got him to fly, the ride was over.

Once we regrouped, it was time for our BOG ADR. We had an early ADR...4:20, I think.

DisneyFeb2013800_zps93f8c30c.jpg

I have to be honest, the food was just okay. We forgot to ask for the gray stuff too.

While we were waiting for our food, Beast came into the West Wing where we were dining. I nearly lost it. I LOVE him…like seriously. I was soo excited when we heard that we could meet him after our meal in the Library. Yay me!

DisneyFeb2013825_zpsfb054fa4.jpg

After we ate, we took a few pictures and made our way over to the Library. Yay me, I was one happty camper at that time. I told Beast that he was the only one I’d leave Joe for. HA HA

After humoring my obsession with Beast, the kids wanted to ride Space Mountain. We walked over that way only to find that it was closed. Not sure what happened.

DisneyFeb2013853_zps3c26f13b.jpg

We decided a spin on Buzz was happening next. Again, my score sucked. Joe and Bob were having a friendly competition. Our pictures were hilarious. I will post them once I upload all of our PP pics.

By this time, we were deciding on a spot for MEP. It was just Joe and I watching this time. His pain level was climbing but he knew how much I wanted to see MEP. We looked for a handicap spot for him to sit down and found one near HOP.

While we were waiting, I was thinking about how much I miss Spectro. MEP just doesn’t do it for me the way that Spectro did.

Here are a few pics that I was able to take of MEP.

DisneyFeb2013882_zpsc965ae3b.jpg

DisneyFeb2013876_zps1fdcbc85.jpg

DisneyFeb2013920_zps7d757e11.jpg

After MEP, Joe was really anxious to start heading out of the park. We started heading to the front of the park and made it to Casey’s when Wishes started. We found a trash can to lean on and I took a few pictures of Wishes.

I had seen a pair of shoes that I wanted earlier that day, so we tried to find them in the shops on Main Street. It was odd though, the ones that I tried on didn’t really fit right at all. Later we figured out why, they were kids sizes. Lol.

We then made our way down Main Street and said good night to the Magic Kingdom.

DisneyFeb20131011_zpsca5a64f9.jpg

After that is when all h-e-double-hockey sticks broke loose. OMG, the crowd was unreal. We couldn’t get near the monorail. I have never, ever seen that many people. The line was to the exit turnstiles…no kidding. We decided to try the boat instead. The people were pushing strollers and running over everyone’s feet. It was horrible. It took forever to get out. Probably at least an hour and a half. Joe was miserable by that time and I was really worried that he over did it big time. I had no clue what the next day would be like for him.

When we finally got back Pop, we crashed. I wanted to go to Everything Pop, but there was no way that was gonna happen.

I have to say, aside from the hassle to get out of the park, Day 2 was a huge success!

Up Next....Day 3
