A: No, but you may have to if purchasing cigarettes or alcohol.

Q: How far a walk is it to the Polynesian Resort?

Thanks for keeping this thread going!

Tina May, TTC is for Ticket and Transportation Center - its a hub for all the forms of transportation around the World. There is a sticky on the very first page of the DIS that gives all the abbreviations. Welcome to the club and happy planning!

Hard to believe we actually had an SOG thread long enough to start a new one! :cool1:

Thanks for the new pictures. Most of those are from angles I had never seen. I kept hearing about this drink stand in the lobby, but had to use my imagination.

Thanks for starting a new thread!! We can't wait for our next trip in Nov, we love SOG :cutie:

Suggest mentioning that SoG itself does NOT have transportation to/from the airport and doesn't participate with Magical Express.

I have not been on the SoG thread since our trip last year. I am starting to plan the next trip now for August or Septenber during DH's R&R. Has Shades of Green announced any room only specials to compete with the Disney 40% off? I love Shades of Green and would prefer to stay there, but money talks! Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Will this new thread be stuck at the top along with all the other Disney resorts threads? I see the old one is still there; I'd hate to lose that one any time soon. Thanks.

I love the pictures - if anyone has current photo's - can you post them for all of us who've never been to SOG before!!!

Thanks!!!

does anyone see the original thread and what page, I can't find it and wanted some info off of it from yesterday (should have done it then, lol)

nothing terribly important to say, just want to make sure I don't lose the new thread....

we tacked on five days after our Magic Cruise in September when WDW came out with the new Ticket offer.

We just had a awesome car service take us from the airport to SOG ...with a nice grocery stop! Really I think this was the best and cheapest option. We didn't miss magical express! Just having a nice clean vehicle with a friendly driver to fit all five of us and having the ability to get a bunch of thins at a grocery store was priceless!!!!

Wow, really nice and close to everything. I would add the walk to the Poly to grab the monorail is not very long, but very pleasant.

Any questions?

What is the resturant situation there???...

I had wondered why I hadn't seen any new posts for a few days. And thanks for posting the link to the old thread so we don't lose all that great information (like we really have time to read 160+ pages).
:goodvibes

We will be in SoG in three days!! I hope to see some Dissers there!!!
