Oh. No. I wasn’t accusing you of leaving your kids. I mean I am truly looking forward to the day I have adult kids and we can meet up for a drink. I think that sounds awesome. My kids are 13 17 19. Not too much longer

I didn't think you were accusing me of anything! I only wanted to clarify it was my mother and not my wife just because I think the situation is funny, and I don't think my mom will have the stamina to go out after a full park day! We'll see!

Thinking of adding the FEA dessert party for after our "anniversary" dinner at Le Cellier. Anyone done it yet? Just wondeinrrg if its a good a choice for after dinner drinks and dessert.

My family enjoys this dessert party. It has the best atmosphere and seating. We think it has the best food of the dessert parties. It has a good mix of dessert and non-dessert food. It does not feel crowded. As for the drinks...the wine is fine. I don't drink beer and I can't remember what they serve. The mixed drinks are way too sweet for me. If I had to recreate them at home, I would take kool aid, dump in double the required sugar, and one shot of alcohol per gallon. Pretty much the same for the dessert party at DHS (except for that milky drink) If you want a cocktail, I'd recommend going into Mexico and buying it, then stick with wine or beer for the rest of the party.

We've been to this party 3 times I think. We didn't experience the rain location in the Norway Pavilion.

We scheduled it 8/5 this trip.

Just ordered some Disney themed shirts from Etsy. I was only going to get a Haunted Mansion tee do wear to MNSSHP but ended up with 3 shirts that aren’t for the party. And nothing for the party yet. I want to see what my family wants to do .I know they won’t want to do marching shirts but maybe we can do a theme.

Our group of 6 are going on 8/20 as Disney villans: Ursula, Malificent, Red queen, evil queen, Cruella & Jafar with diy costumes. Shirts, tees, tutus (dtr & grand teens) & flip flops. we did buy a few accessories on amazon. We tried to keep the costumes cool due to the Aug heat.

That’s interesting. We weren’t planning on visiting HS once SW opened & this seals it. Hopefully it doesn’t change on the days before it opens.

I ordered my daughter a Jack Skellington dress To possibly wear to the party. I’m pretty sure the boys aren’t going to be on board with doing anything. I really need to start looking for ideas.

Well I got the fastpasses I wanted and pretty much at the times too. A little bit of tweaking here and there. The only one that I had to make some adjustments to my plans for was I had wanted a 7dmt for our first day early in the morning since we are starting out in Fantasyland. Got it for after lunch and the Space FP earlier so moving around a few things. Not a big deal. After months of planning now its just counting down the days. Looks like others were successful too for some of the same days as me.
