Things Disney Offers But Doesn't Advertise *Summary Added Oct 08*

They give the "old" flowers in the arrangements in the GF lobby away on the day they put the fresh out. I think this is on Tuesday morning. All you have to do is be there.

I love this idea! Does anyone have any idea what time of day they refresh the flowers?

If you enjoy the trains, the "Behind the Steam Trains" tour was awesome. Also, you arrive at the MK so early for this tour (7:30), that you can get some great pictures without anyone in them.

cool thread! :cool1: Finding the paint brushes On Tom Sawyer's Island was a lot of fun! We have the "go to the front of the line" certificate in our memory box. :)

Great thread!
Has anyone done the Chip N Dale singalong/ "drive in " movie at Ft. Wilderness? Sounds like fun!popcorn::

Marshmellow Roast at Ft. Wilderness...do they still do those?

I would recommend the Keys to the Kingdom tour at the MK. You do pay extra for it, but it is abot a 4-5 hour tour and you see a lot of behind the scenes stuff and get alot of interesting information.

The robots in Innoventions and the goofy pictures of yourself in the Kodak Imagination center that you can email home. Then, after you get home, you can print them out - free pictures. :)

We know about the tours and water sports and golfing. But are there special things (like the meal with the imangeer) that only a few know about? I've been reading these boards for over a year, and I know that there are a lot of people that know a lot about Disney, so I thought I would ask. :earsboy:

Kris :-)

Couple questions, how much is the dinning with an imagineer?

And, what is the golfing offer you alluded to?

Thanks.

I agree about finding the paintbrushes on Tom Saywers Island. My 12 year old son had so much fun looking for and finding them. We found a bunch and took pictures and then put them back. We turned one in so we could get the fast pass and deputy badge. It's free and is a nice memory. :wizard:

I want to say the Dinning With An Imangineer was around $60. But don't quote me. Maybe someone reading this can give you a better answer.

As far as the golf, I know in the Platinum Package you can golf at any one of Disney's golf courses (it's included in the package).

And I have to say bravo to everyone that has replied back. SO MANY GREAT IDEAS!!! I couldn't believe when I saw tonight that there were so many things to do. I can't wait as the list gets longer!!

Kris :)

there's actually 2 dining with an imagineer programs... lunch at brown derby and dinner at artist point.

So there are more than one per day? We've looked before, but gave up rather early since we assumed there would be only one. Will try harder next time!:wizard:

There is "Gifts of a Lifetime" our lady was "Jane" They help organize special surprise events for you at Disney. As an example they arranged a treasure hunt for me(hubby paid for their services) There was a few things I would have changed but over all it was fun and certainly worth recommending to folks. They do all types of themes and stuff. There is a staff working together and can pull off some pretty cool things, if you are looking for a special day/surprise for someone.

I think this is different than what is quoted above. We go to Innoventions West and send post card pictures of us by e-mail to friends. It's free and you select the background you want.

The above gives ideas of what to do at the parks that might be little known.
