TR June 17th -24th in Paradise (Completed)

This is the life right... sitting on our deck drink pog mimosas and watching my son paint.

So next we clean up and we head to Auntys for their free program. My son is all excited to go back.
After drop off my mom and me decide to try get so things for the pay it forward group. We are eyeing the Boogie board.

Well this is when we remembered why we dislike the elevators. We have been using stairs so far all morning. Took a while to get one then had to stop at every floor. We soo appreciate our 2nd floor room even more now... by the time we get to the floor it is gone. Ohh well.
Next we went to the aulani store to pick out a dress for me. I spotted some cute ones and they had larger sizes this time unlike last time. I end up with this vmcute dress... olu mel. I really just love all things olu mel.

Then I got the cutest ears... such a hard decision to pick just one ears but look at them. They are tubes!!

And I picked out my aulani pin, decided on the cute pride pin.
Here is my drss on me.
And now the ears on me. Yep I am happy!

Next we change into our bathing suits for a little fun time in the pool before we need to pick up our son.

DAY 3:
So we woke up to early again.

I take pictures of some of the stuff we bought yesteday.... I forgot to post that we went to do a little shopping yesteday. We did a quick trip to the Aualni store since my parents wanted bigger mugs than what was provided in our suite. My parents coffee mugs are adorable!

Also this resuable bag is amazing. ( I now use it as my bag to hold all my other bags when going to the grocery store, I Colorado when baggless too). It even zips up!! View attachment 775521

After breakfast that we made in our room and taking pics of my out new buys. It is time for our morning workout. My son wanted to join in so it became a walk. We decided to try I chance at pardise cove and see if we can spot in turtles or seals. The walk is a nice little walk. My son loves spotting all the cool plants along the way.

We check in with my dad and mom. Dad got our seats again in the morning. He loves just chilling looking out at the ocean and reading his book.
We get into the lazy river is nice. We had fun trying to miss the waterfalls.

We pick up our son and have him eat some of his lunch at our chairs. My husband's is getting hungry and orders another poke bowl and we fill up the popcorn bucket.


I eat a sandwhich my mom made. While husband is finishing lunch I take my son to the slide. I do it with him a few times and then dad takes over. I take some fun pics of then coming down the slide.




I ask my son if he wants to do any character meet and greets and he said nope.. he wants to keep doing the slide and he wants daddy. So I go do some characters meet and greets. Yeah Goofy!

I loove meeting characters.
I am getting hungry. I check in with my husband and son... still wanting to do the slide but only with daddy. So I go and get a little food.

I loove these dole whips. It is watermelon and regular flavor dole whip. Then they put fresh watermelon inside of the dole whip!! This is the best dole whip. A must get! And look how cute it is. Much better than the shaved ice here... which looks cute but do not taste great.

After my lovely snack it is time to meet Duffy!

Next up, I pick up my son and husband from the pool. They apparently went and did some more snorkling too! I just did not get pics of it. I dry off my son and getting him ready for the next activity. The stamping shirts! This is a paid activity we reserved for my son in the community room. While walking over we stop to look at the fishy...

They had it all set up and ready to go.

They even put mickey shapes on the paint!

They explain how the stamps are all real stamp patterns the Hawaiian used. I love how they keep everything authentic.
And then my son gets started on it. He loves it and is super focused.




They even give u a card to help with washing instructions. I do love how they think of everything.

Next after we finished we checked on dad at the grill. He is making dinner for us tonight burgers. Yummy. You go to the community room to get the tools to use for the grill. I love having this option to help save some money.

Here is dinner. Burger with Hawaiian buns and some chips. Basic but we are spending money left and right so ever little bit of savings is good.

Next we head to the membership party. They said it started at 6:30.... we got the Lei nuts and glow necklaces. We found out though the show does not start till 7 so we stay to the back and we buy my son a bubble wand. This is the only place to buy them here apparently. And my son has fun with it in the back. But we then leave a little before the offical start of the party for animation class we reserved at 7. We asked what he wanted to do and he said animation class more... so we missed most of the party. But at least got the free stuff.






Luckliy animation class is right next to the lawn.. so easy trip. My son grabs his coloring board and is soo excited. The castmember remember us.

This time we drew Pluto. Again they did triva question and was super entertaining while drawing. My son looved it.

After the class we caught the tail end of the party. But my son was tried so we went back to our room.

And that was our day. It was a great day, a little bit of everything. Wish the membership party actually started at 6:30... but it is what it is...

Day 4!
We wake up early again but not as bad as the other days. Today I have booked Ocean Fitness with Aulani. This is a workout done on a paddle board with one of the Fitness instructors at Aulani. This is a paid workout but there are free workouts to at Aulani.
We wake up early enough though we still have time for a walk. Also we go and claim our chairs for the day. It is so pretty in the morning.

Here is dad at the chairs. We have been loving this spot. We can still see the ocean but also a good middle spot to go in-between ocean and pool with shade.
So mom and me walk to the secret beach again to see if we can could see wild life... still no wild life but pretty.

I get ready for my workout. I am wearing stuff that can get wet!

So u meet your instructor at the rental shack. They have a little sign there. The instructor checks you in. My instructor was so nice.
There were 2 other people who joined this session. You practice and warmup first on the beach then u go in. You will get wet. One of the first things we did was a get in the water and pull your self back on the board. The class was a little yoga and body weight training with some surf board moves thrown in. I did this last year with a different instructor and we did a some different things but overall the same. You get a great total body workout. I did fall down in the water rmutiple times but I had a great time. How many times to u get to workout like this?! So my mom took some pics of the workout, here are a few, so u can get the idea of it.







I would highly recommend this class for those looking to workout but want to do something different. I would wear your rash guard shirt and a workout bra that can get wet. Then wear shorts that can get wet and bathing suit bottoms. Last year I wore my bathing suit top and it was not supportive enough. Sorry if this was to much info for the guys but it was an important lesson I learned from last time. Also u need to be able to swim to do this workout too cause u getting into the water.

The best part at the end.... the instructor has little water bottles and towels for you after the workout. Again those small attention to details really sets Aulani apart.

After workout it is breakfast time!! I go to Off the Hook to order their breakfast. I am really happy about this change from last year. They finally have a place to get mickey waffles outside of the character breakfast. My suggestion order the kids meal mickey waffles it is way cheaper and still is a good size. Here is the kids mickey waffles:

My son and me loved them
My husband and dad got a traditional breakfast. I dropped off dad's breakfast to him at his chair.
It took a little bit to order but they are mad e to order. I did take out so carried breakfast back to our room.
After breakfast I get my son changed for swimming and snorkeling so more with my DH. And my mom and me go a last min pedicure appointment at the Four Seasons.
It was really last min cause we were suppose to get our pedicures before the trip but things happened and we ran out of time before the trip. The Alauni appointments did not work for our times but four seasons did. Also cool part about four seasons u get access to the spa area for pedicure . Bonus!!
we head over and what do I notice the four season have to greet guest... leis... I will never not get over Aulani being cheep and them not bringing it back. I understood when covid was an issue but they cannot use that as an excuse any more. Disney is just being cheep. I made sure and put that down in the survey they gave us at the end of the trip. Please everyone do the same thing.

Moving on the spa area is in a separate building. They have this really great water at check in.
We check in and they show us part of the area we can relax while we wait for each others pedicures. They only have one person doing pedicures in today. But look at this lovely pool we have to ourselves.




It was really nice to get a break from the kids pools in Aulani.
Mom came back for her pedi and she got these lovely little chocolates.

Next my turn. They have nice pedicure chairs.

I picked out a cute sparkly light blue color. So cute. The person doing pedicures was very nice and good. Did a great foot and leg massage too wich was great after the workout today.

Then she took us down the the 2nd part of the spa area and gave us a tour of the whole place. Here is the snack area. Better than Aulanis.
One of the relaxation gardens.



We liked this one.
They had whirlpool here too. With some ice cold towels which was a great extra touch.

The steam room was nice too.

Also rando selfie cause why not.

So bring your bathing suit for the Four Seasons spa area to so u can participate in the fun extras. We had a lovely time here. The spa area is smaller but less people and u have unlimited time here unlike Aulani. Prices are similar. I love how we have access to this place right next door to give us more options if Aulani is booked up.

Back to my son... my husband did not take pics of them in pool or snorkeling. But they had fun he said. He dropped off at Auntys for the paid experience. This was a new one called Becoming a Sea Creatures. My son wanted to do it and the cool part of it is, it is now a 3 hours experience! They got meet my fav character Olu Mel. (I never got to meet him, he met when I was always gone, so happy son got to meet him atleast.)

They did an obstacle course that had them pretend they were a sea creature.

They decorated a turtle which my son loves to do.


Overall my son said he loved it. They gave more planned activities for the paid exp vs the free.

I also love they have photographers there so u know what is going on.
I think this a good one. I just wish there was a little more science with it. My son loves learning more facts about sea creatures and I know the kids who picked this class probably like that stuff too. So it would have been cool if they brought out some things to touch like in museums and did some real science stuff too.
He was soo excited about the turtle he made though when I picked him up. He showed it to me right away. And it comes in this little cute bag.
