I guess it depends on how they interpret the purchase. Amex can be tricky. Here's some of the language from the terms - "The following do not count as a qualifying purchase: fees or interest charges, balance transfers, cash advances, purchases of traveler's checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid Cards, purchases of any cash equivalents or purchases made in foreign currencies."

I guess I'm just more confident here since there has not been any reports in the past of there ever being an Amex clawback on an Amex offer. All clawbacks in the past have been on people abusing sign up offers or credit benefits that come with a card.

It would be very bad press for them to claw back on as small business that they have listed on their map which doesn't sell anything besides for gift cards. And technically the fluz app doesn't call them gift cards even though in reality that is what they are.

For those who have no idea what the fluz app is, it basically is an app which you use to pay for an item in a store. So for example, if I am going to buy something at Walmart for $22.54, you go into the fluz app, choose Walmrt, and choose $22.54. The app then charges you that amount and gives you a walmart egift card for $22.54. Sometimes, they will even round your amount up and give you a $23 gift card for no extra charge, although the terms and conditions say that people who abuse the round up feature will have their accounts shut down.

It is obvious that almost no one is going to Disneyworld. United has flights from Newark to Orlando for $15 for literally the whole month of August at all times of day (even at peak times).

Personally, I think Disney will end up losing more money by reopening the way they did. They would have been better off closing for a couple of months and doing all the necessary refurbishments while they were closed. They would complete them faster that way and then be able to have a real grand opening later in the year.

We’ve previously covered that Fluz, eGifter, and Samsung Pay gift card purchases were triggering this offer. All I can say is we got our points back on Delta for grocery purchases. As stated earlier, we did not use apps or other promotions and did not buy gift cards, so why the clawback. CS said we are going through selected cards. And just how were we "selected" as we haven't bought gc with our card due to our offers sucking so badly. He said, she said, we said ~ Got the points back! At the end, we were asked if there was anything else we needed help with.... Stop giving us wine offers we'll never use!
