The brunch looked like so much fun - I love all the pictures of all of you! The price is a bit (or completely) ridiculous, but I think the cost would be worth it with such a fun group.

It's too bad you got rained out of MK, but perhaps an afternoon of rest before the end of the EPIC festivities was the best plan. Had you been to the HDDR before? If not, I look forward to seeing what you thought of it!

Oh, CA Brunch...I love it so much but it's getting to the point that it's hard to justify the price as a solo diner...MUCH better when you can share food!

I also love your Small World dress. I wanted that one for a long time but I think I missed out on it. I'm a sucker for Small World merch so that one still hurts! You look GREAT in it!

Sounds like it was a wonderful brunch! So many great pictures from the event, and everyone looks like they're having a fun time. I love all the Dress Shop dresses present. 😆

There were many important discussion matters that had to be attended to! :snooty:
Yes very important! Like "what cocktail am I having?" or "what else can I munch on?" and "what other trouble can we brew up?" :rotfl:
But of course! I have the VIP weather package, so why can't I have it at home and for whatever I want, too???
If you had the VIP weather package there wouldn't have been any love bugs in May. You better make sure you are still a VIP! LOL
We registered for Moonlight Magic, but we also have O'hana that night. Trying to move O'hana cause I really want to do dinner there, but also love the idea o Moonlight Magic, just don't want to do them the same night!
Yeah I can see that just being a really tiring day with a huge meal and a late night. Maybe you can try for a really early dinner/late lunch, I believe they start serving around 3:30pm, that way maybe you can get a nap in between!
An epic trip deserves an epic brunch!!! Yum!! Love that you were able to get so many photos together that day as well
Brunch was just an excuse for an epic photoshoot!
    No kidding! Perfect!
    I'd say... about $80.
    Sounds about right!
That was very fortunate. And wonderful. :)
    :)
They were so bad last May!
    Ugh yes,
    What a great idea!
Wish we could have thought of it before!
There is something wrong with this photo... maybe it's just me being a grumpy old man...
    grumpy old man? No....

    :duck:
Too bad. That sounds like it'd be really good.
It sounded and looked better than it tasted.
Nice. :) gotta have them... it's the title of the epic trip, after all!
    True!
But I'm sure you made room. It's dessert!!
    I think I managed a few macarons.

Wish I'd been able to do brunch with y'all, but I figured I'd pushed my luck with dinner at O'Hana. Hopefully, for the next epic trip, my wife can join in and then I'll be like another Steve.

I'm still disappointed I decided not to do this brunch! The money swayed me a bit, as well as my original plan to do 4 parks in 1 day for my birthday instead. Sigh. Perhaps some other Epic trip!!

The skies most definitely did open up that day!! I got a bit wet on my way onto the monorail before it completely downpoured. I stayed on a couple times around the loop before heading into MK, in fact! The window in my car would stay shut and water was pouring in on that side. Not fun!!

But really, how could you put a price on this view?
Disney did and it's $80 :rotfl:

we took the oppurtunity to take as many pictures as possible as it was one of the last times we'd all be together in this big of a group!
I love love love these group photos! Such great reminders of all the friends that got to get together on this trip!

I can’t even tell you how much I love reading about this day  It just brings me right back and gives me all the feels. I love that you have all the video too! I really can’t wait for the next EPIC trip!
I know! Writing it was so fun, it really made me want to re-live it all again!
I guess since it's almost 2020 we have to start planning for the next Epic trip! Oct 2021!

You all looked so fabulous for brunch!! :lovestruc So much food at that brunch! Sounds like it was mostly good, aside from a few little details.
Yup! Definitely the company was the best part! I enjoy the brunch here but I do think it's incredibly overpriced. I guess you are paying mostly for the alcohol and the views.

Hahah! Steve is killing me in this.
    His face cracks me up!!

That seems soooo long ago...It was such a great trip with so many awesome DIS friends!!!!
You pretty much summed up the entire feels when I was writing it!

The brunch looked like so much fun - I love all the pictures of all of you! The price is a bit (or completely) ridiculous, but I think the cost would be worth it with such a fun group.
It is absolutely overpriced but I guess if you were a big drinker it may be worth it (it wasn't really that much for us as I think I only had like 2 glasses of champagne, it's not my fave liquor), but you're right, the company makes it worth it!

It's too bad you got rained out of MK, but perhaps an afternoon of rest before the end of the EPIC festivities was the best plan. Had you been to the HDDR before? If not, I look forward to seeing what you thought of it!
Nope it was our first time!! :)

Oh, CA Brunch...I love it so much but it's getting to the point that it's hard to justify the price as a solo diner...MUCH better when you can share food!
Yes agreed! It won't be worth it for me to go solo, but between Steve and I we could probably do 3 entrees. 😆
I also love your Small World dress. I wanted that one for a long time but I think I missed out on it. I'm a sucker for Small World merch so that one still hurts! You look GREAT in it!
Thank you! It's the only dress shoppe dress that I thought remotely looked good on me. I had to get it from ebay since that style was an oldie!
Sounds like it was a wonderful brunch! So many great pictures from the event, and everyone looks like they're having a fun time. I love all the Dress Shop dresses present. 😆
Hehe there were quite a few dress shoppe dresses during the trip! It was a fantastic brunch because of the company!
So many great pics of you ladies! Sounds like it was an awesome brunch!
Definitely! It was a highlight of the trip!
For some reason this typo just makes me laugh!
HAhaha O did not even realize that!!
Yeah, that would have been gross!
    Sooo gross!

Today was our California Grill brunch! What a way to end our epic trip! It is very expensive though, so good thing many of us had the TIW card which could offset the $80+ pricetag. But really, how could you put a price on this view?
And yet it is booked solid....we were able to snag a Le Cellier brunch for our upcoming trip.

We got to meet @jedijill too! I've seen her on so many other of my DISBoard friends' TRs that it was about time that we met!
Yes, it was definitely about time!

We had to admire the view from the inside because the gross lovebugs were all over the outdoor areas so they didn't want people opening and closing doors to the patio, which was a relief!
    Yuk. That just sounds awful.

Steve got the Steak n Eggs. It was pretty standard and he liked it but I'm not a fan of hanger steak.
That looks really good to me. I really like that, we call it skirt steak, the stores here call it flap meat.

We found out we are actually on the same Hawaii cruise next May! I'm so excited to actually know more people on the cruise!
I'm so envious. She was supposed to be on my cruise. Now we're all by ourselves again. :sad2:

you can see behind me in my clever "castle within my ears" shot:
Cute shot, but those skies do look ominous.

That evening we had the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. Let's hope it dries out before then!!

Coming up...the last supper, and the last Chunky bus of the trip! 😭
But you're going on a cruise right? :confused3

I'll be there for MLK weekend too! With my parents and my in-laws! First time we are all going together!
Sounds like a fun time! I think? LOL. If you see me please say hi! Right now all my days are focused on getting on RotR!
I have a VIP weather pass... I didn't ask for the VIP insect pass.
Well chop chop, May is coming soon!
Wish I'd been able to do brunch with y'all, but I figured I'd pushed my luck with dinner at O'Hana. Hopefully, for the next epic trip, my wife can join in and then I'll be like another Steve.
You are always welcome Doc!! Our next trip is in Jan. over MLK weekend. We're entirely focused on getting on RotR a few times at least so that will be the theme of the trip...early mornings and afternoon naps, LOL.
I'm still disappointed I decided not to do this brunch! The money swayed me a bit, as well as my original plan to do 4 parks in 1 day for my birthday instead. Sigh. Perhaps some other Epic trip!!
Yes we missed you!! For another trip is correct! We better begin planning soon, it's almost...2020, LOL!
The skies most definitely did open up that day!! I got a bit wet on my way onto the monorail before it completely downpoured. I stayed on a couple times around the loop before heading into MK, in fact! The window in my car would stay shut and water was pouring in on that side. Not fun!!
Argh how annoying about the window! but at least you were covered! I did not get to soaked as on May the 4th whew!
Disney did and it's $80 :rotfl:
Haha correct, they did do just that.
I love love love these group photos! Such great reminders of all the friends that got to get together on this trip!
Absolutely! We needed to commemorate this for all our TRs!
    OMG adorable
Thanks! I'm getting better at it!
No, not grumpy... I noticed too....
Phones at the tables? Boo. We should all make an effort to stop using them, myself included.

    LOL

    Loved your Cali Brunch update
Thank you! Hope you will be able to join us next time!

Skirt steak I am fine with the hangar not so much, so I think they were slightly different cuts.
I'm so envious. She was supposed to be on my cruise. Now we're all by ourselves again. :sad2:
Aww. What cruise are you going on?
Cute shot, but those skies do look ominous.
Yup, typical FL weather. Stays bright for 45 minutes then it's all overcasty and threatening and in an hour everything is sunny again!
But you're going on a cruise right? :confused3
Yup!! We are! But this is the last time all of us would be together with me!

Maybe me and my wife can meet up with y'all. That is the weekend after DDCC is over so should have some free time.

Had some friends (surprisingly younger kids/adults)....
They would put all their phones in the middle of the table. First person to touch their phone had to buy the meal for everyone.
