Oh, another perk of the VIP tour that I forgot to mention is that they offer you Disney ponchos if needed so you're not walking around in the rain.

I went to the hot tub for a bit just to relax my legs. It was nice. Then I think it might have started raining not too long after I got there, and I left, so much for that, LOL.

Prince John did not have a photopass photographer, nor did he willingly stop for pictures, it was more of a...stalk him until he stops, jump in and try to get a picture! So it was rather hard to pin him down as he kept roaming about and many people tried to jump in at the same time!

Since I have been called "slacker" on the DISboards (ahem, more than once by @Lesley Wake) I am going to try my best to update more frequently over the next few days/week. I actually have a lot of travel coming up and I'll more or less be out of commission for a few weeks at the end of Aug and beginning of Sept.

We're going to Galaxy's Edge!! I got an AP preview slot for us Aug 18th at 9am. That day is also my niece's Eva's birthday which I am missing but I'll Facetime her from Batu'u and maybe I'll make her a droid or something, which she won't appreciate so I'll probably keep it, hahaha. Will be meeting up with some Epic ladies while there too. @kastoney @ariane37 @Monykalyn @StarWarsMomofGirls! @disneyAndi14 @amalone1013 @dizneeat and hopefully will get to meet @Cloe Colton.

I will be going to Singapore the first week of Sept. to take care of some family affairs. I'll be there with my mom and Chunkysis. We're also having a memorial for my dad at the church he attended when he lived there and all his relatives and old friends are able to attend. That happens literally the day after I arrive in Singapore so I'll have to make my speech while jet-lagged, LOL. Hopefully it won't be too bad and that they will think I'm jet-lagged and not drunk, LOL.
Steve won't be accompanying me to Singapore but I will be meeting him on the 2nd half of my long vacation.

Right from Singapore I fly to California to meet Steve...because well, we're going to Galaxy's Edge in DLR!!! So within a a few weeks of each other I get to experience GE in both parks! Very very excited and also will be meeting up with even more Epic ladies out there...the west coast ones LOL. @Lesley Wake @franandaj and @Steppesister !! Also will be jet-lagged, but I think the sight of the Millennium Falcon will jolt me awake!!

I am sort of all over the place with the Disney trips for the latter half of this year! Random ADRs (like I booked Coral Reef even though I haven't been there in 10 years), barely got any decent FP...not my usual precision planning at all (but the preview was added quite last minute too!). I guess after Epic Trip, nothing can measure up! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!?!?
I better get my act together soon!

In the meantime back to the Epic TR!!

Day 7 Part 1: No You Can't Have Both Sisters

Today was our MK day followed by our Epic Group Dinner at 'Ohana with a couple of DISmeets along the way! My sister ended up going to MK at rope drop because she wanted to get princess pictures, but all the FP I made were for rides and she couldn't understand how I did not make a Princess Fairytale Hall FP for her, so she switched 2 of her FPs to the princesses but she must have them early in the day for prime hair and makeup freshness so that's why she left earlier.

Meanwhile, Steve and I were about an hour behind but still made it relatively early-ish.
There was only one thing that I wanted to do.

Ride the Peoplemover!

Seriously I hadn't ridden it yet and I've been here for a week. It's always been either closed or I was too far away. So I walked with purpose into Tomorrowland!

I was successful!!

After PM, I went to get breakfast, and Steve went to ride Space Mountain, which just gives me a backache so I declined. I went to get my favorite again:

It was good and hit the spot! Steve barely eats anything in order to prep for Ohana dinner, so he said he'd have a small lunch but no breakfast so I ate it all myself, buahaha.

Steve apparently rode Space Mountain twice:

While waiting and finishing my breakfast I got a text from my sister and she was in line to meet Gaston, so of course where did I end up?

You're so manly Gaston!

This next picture is so funny as I captioned it on Instagram as "No Gaston, you cannot have both sisters!"

I really don't remember what he was saying but it looked like he had successfully woo-ed my sister but I wasn't going to be falling for his charms, LOL.

After rejecting Gaston, we ended up in line for Alice:

Steve came to join us too.

My sister then had more of a character quest while we headed over to Aloha Isle for a DISmeet.

I did end up with some solo shots in front of the castle, I think Steve went to get some Sorcerer's cards in the meantime.

Finally at Aloha Isle, we met up with the one and only @pkondz and his lovely daughter Elle. Pkondz and I got Hei Hei cones, but I didn't know that pkondz literally had a dole whip float just a few minutes before. I fooled him and Elle into thinking that I'm a very pleasant, charming person in real life.

Still convinced your Hei Hei cone was bigger than mine pkonz!! You don't notice from this picture but my shirt and necklace matched with a certain favorite red-haired mermaid princess of his. You see? This was all part of my ploy to make him think I'm a likeable, fairly normal person.

pkondz also gifted us with a bag of more Canadian goodies. Why are you Canadians so nice?!?#?! It's uncanny!!
Unfortunately him and his daughter had to leave to go do mundane things such as FPs and BoG ADRs...scoff.
We also had to run to do FPs, so we parted ways, but it was so great to finally meet up. I felt like we had been talking for hours but pkondz apparently kept looking at his watch and he said it was 20 mins. (scoffs again). LOL. But hope we get to meet again pkondz! When is your next trip?

Oh funnily, we also ran into @MissMaryQC and her cute DD while having Dole Whips. I had not met her yet but she was coming to dinner that night with her sister so looking forward to finally getting to talk to people more.

After we left Pkondz and Elle, we went to BTMRR to use our FP. I had changed into another shirt (and matching necklace!) prior because I had thoughts about meeting Aladdin and Princess Jasmine and my shirt had a Jasmine quote on it.

But that was short-lived because I decided I must have some lunch so Steve and I headed to Columbia Harbor House and split the fried shrimp platter. It was really good and just the right amount for us!

It was here that we had our next DISmeet with @docsoliday1 and his DD Penny, who had just come out of Haunted Mansion. So nice to meet you guys! Doc recently moved to Florida so they were locals. In fact, they were joining us later that evening at Ohana and Doc was bringing his famous cheesecake! Yum!

We met up with my sister and all 5 of us did our 7DMT FP together. Luckily the ride pic actually included CS who was in the cart in front of us!

When we were checking Facebook we saw updates that there was a new Minnie's Garden Party event happening in Epcot just for that weekend. I made the decision that we should go back to the Swan via Epcot, and that way we could stop at the Odessy since I wasn't sure when we'd get a chance to that weekend.

Before we left MK I tried to head inside BoG because I forgot to give pkondz something but they wouldn't let me inside without a reservation (the horror!!) but that's ok, we left it with Doc because he was going to see them later! Outside of BoG we ran into Ariana @Pluto0809 and Jackie @missjackiemcg who had just finished their ADR at BoG (I think they were either leaving or entering). We all stopped to chat for a bit before parting ways.

Not sure why my sister didn't come to Epcot with us - I can't actually remember but she was probably doing more pictures at MK. We did grab this magic shot though outside of Beast's castle!

I wanted to get more castle pics so I told Steve to go ahead while I stopped for Photopass.

And got castle selfies

Then I took my time and strolled through the stores and probably got distracted by shiny new merchandise and I also stopped in Starbucks because I needed more coffee. By the time I met Steve, he said he got pictures with Snow White.
I was kinda in shock, Steve went to get SOLO pictures with a PRINCESS?!?

He said he was wearing his Grumpy shirt and Snow White was meeting near the front of Main St. so it only made sense.
Wait, what? Steve actually went and did a photopass picture with a princess!!
You guys, I think he's finally learning!!!

I was so surprised that I had to let our Facebook group know all about Steve turning into Chunkysis for a moment!

Meanwhile, CS did actually meet the citizens of Agrabah!

I did love the live action Aladdin! I was so surprised I thought I would hate it, but hey, who knows, the new Lion King may do the same for you! Although I must say I did prefer the original classic. The new one was good, and the CGI was amazing but I think it didn't really add so much as make a more stylized version of the classic. I still enjoyed it a lot.

I watched The Lion King and I didn't hate it. Weirdly, when the Circle of Life started playing at the beginning I teared up and was fighting tears through the whole song. It was an entertaining movie, but seemed a bit unnecessary overall. And I HATED that Beyonce song when Simba decided to return home, totally ruined the moment. I'm glad I watched the movie, though. Oh and Timon and Pumbaa were cute!
