Heyyyy Ya'll!! We just returned a few days ago from our annual trip to Disney World, and had an amazing time! I'm going to try to wrap this trip report up fairly rapidly, since I am starting school again in a week. Oh yay...
So, I guess I'll start with introductions:
This is me, Brittney. I am 25, and a Disney Addict. I have been to the 'World' 37 times now, and don't plan on stopping yet! I attend Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!!) for History. I plan on going to Law school when I graduate (hopefully this December!).
Up next, is my Dad:
My dad works as a Maintenance Tech for a big oil company. He loves Pirates of the Caribbean, and collecting electric guitars.
My Mom:
Mom is a high school English/ESL teacher. She is currently expanding her Spanish vocabulary, and enjoys going on vacations. Disney isn't always her top choice, but she plays along! She is probably the most patient person in the entire world, and I have no idea how she puts up with my dad and I!
Since we were going to Disney for Christmas, we picked up my grandma a few days before we left and had Christmas early. We finished packing the night before and tried to go to bed as early as possible.
The next morning, we woke up around 3:30 am and headed to the New Orleans airport. While at the airport, dad got some coffee and I ordered a smoothie from Smoothie King. A few hours later, we were on our way to see MICKEY!!
While on the plane, we checked out Sky Mall. For those of you unfamiliar with Sky Mall, it is a magazine that sells some interesting items. Things like this:
Which really makes me believe that they are promoting cannibalism. Just saying.
Anyways, so we landed and it took A MILLION years to get off of the plane!! Seriously people, why do you take so long?! I'm trying to see MICKEY!!! I don't have time for you to gather up your carry ons. Get out of the way!! haha.
Had to ride the Fake-O-Rail first... more obstacles in my way from Mickey!
We elected to allow Magical Express to collect our bags, so we headed down to Level One and were placed in a line for a bus. After a short wait, we were on our way to WDW!
To Be continued...
