Hello,

Does anyone have any recent experience bringing the light sabers on WestJet flights? Do they allow it as a carry on?

Both Air Canada and Westjet allow them as carry-ons. Depending on the plane and the type of overhead bins they can go into the bin, or the FA will take them and store them in the coat closet at the front of the plane. This is Orlando flights only. Always noticed MCO flights and FAs are always a bit different compared to other routes. If you are making a connecting flight that doesn't always see the sabers you might run into something.

We flew SNA to YYC last Tuesday on a packed flight. There were many a light saber in the overhead bin. They FAs were cool about it. The lady behind me had two carry on bags AND her saber and they let it slide.
