AMAZING!! I always wonder the same thing!! How does everyone afford to go 2 or 3 times a year? For our family, it is something we have to save for so we are lucky to go 1 time a year!!! My DH doesn't travel that much, so we have no frequent flyer miles and we are not AP holders! My DH is a manager of a non-destructive testing lab by the Indy airport, and I was a stay at home mom for 9 years but now substitute teach and have a part time retail job on Saturdays. Now that I substitute teach, we can save enough to go to Disney every one to two years. Shellymouse, I see you are from Holland, Michigan. All of my mom's family is from there! One of my cousins lives on Third Street in Holland. My mom also has family in Grand Haven. We love it there! The Coast Guard Festival is so fun! We may try to get up there this year for that!!!

I'll join in.

We go to WDW about every 18 months on average... sometimes more, sometimes less.

I am a senior software developer for a national specialty retailer. I work on writing the software for the cash register system that runs the store.

My wife is a specialist in knowledge management - working on the computer system that runs the knowledgebase for the internal help desk at a major pharmaceutical company.

I'm a stay at home mom of dd13 and ds12, husband has an auto repair business.

i'm a court reporter and my husband is a desktop administrator for a stock market analysis firm. we've been married 5 years and we don't have any kiddies yet....just enjoying each other for a few more years. i would love to go to WDW every year, but i have to be fair to him. he likes WDW, but not like me! our next trip (after WDW in may) is going to be yellowstone (his choice). we can only afford to go on one major trip a year. i think the next year will probably be italy because i've been DYING to go there. then maybe WDW again (i hope!!!).

I work in data entry and I have two grown daughters that still live at home, both working on college degrees:thumbsup2 We are all disney nuts! We pool our money and try to go 3 times a year but at least 2. We are AP holders and that really helps.:cool1:

I am an engineer and my wife a teacher. We are pretty much once a year but have managed a visit here or there while visiting family (brother and his family are in Orlando).

I do travel a fair amount for work so the frequent flyer miles take care of the air travel which helps out. As for our tickets we are AP holders (this is our first year) and we planned ahead on our dates to get two vacations on them.

WOW I feel like the dull one here (cry). I am a part time teacher in a local daycare. I am somewhat of a floater but most often work with the 4s and after school kids. I am also a sales rep for Stuff a friend. I have almost a associates degree in Eary childhood Educaation. I am also a college student going to school for criminal justice. I will also (hopefully) be a emt soon too (since i need to be for my degree). I am still loooking into after college options to advoid being a beat cop. I love computers and kids.
I am a mom to two special baby kittens (bos and bandit).

I am a stay at home mom who loves to disboard :surfweb: My DH works for the State of NY as an Engineer

Full time TA, with annual pass, always searching for cheap airfare. I go to WDW about four times a year. Spend the month of June in FL at my mom's house while she goes on vacation. Job is portable but I work all the time.

I'm an internal auditor for a financial institution. Not many people understand what I do, I like to say its a cross between a babysitter and a consultant.

My DF is a business development manager for a health care clinic that is in local pharmacies.

I'd love to go to WDW twice a year. We can only go about once every two years, as we always vacation at the beach with my family, so 2 vacations takes away a lot of vacation days.

I am an elementary school principal and my DH is the purchasing agent in our school district. We can only afford to take our now teenage DD's:dance3: once a year. I think WDW is the happiest place on earth, and I hope that some day when our DD's become mothers themselves, they can also bring their own children and hopefully bring me along too.

I teach kindergarten & 1st grade students w/ special needs.

DH is currently a teaching assistant @ the University of Georgia... completing his Masters in May 07 and his PhD in 09-10.

I'm a food geek - I develop new products for companies. (My real title is Director of R & D - the company is a startup and I'm a staff of one.) DH is a chemist who makes pigments. We used our tax refund last year, and this year we used the money DH's mom gave us since she gave his brother a used car. I don't see us moving up from the once a year club anytime soon.

Oh yeah, I live farther north than Holland, MI - I'm up by Muskegon.

I'm also an elementary school principal. My husband works for a local John Deere dealership. We just became DVC members earlier this year so will now probably visit the mouse at least twice a year. We have two daughters, ages 5 and 8. We will make more girls trips than family trips because DH doesn't get many vacation days.

My DBF and I are both law students. Somehow we've managed to go to WDW twice and DL once during our three years in law school. I guess when you want something bad enough you'll make sacrifices! :goodvibes It was a year and a half between our two WDW trips. We'll probably be in the every year or two club for a while. Hopefully, after we've been out practicing for a while, we'll be able to upgrade to a couple of trips a year...or at least a guaranteed yearly trip! I'm sure that'll be a really long time from now, though. :sad2:

Im a wedding and portrait photographer with my own studio, and I also own an upscale childrens boutique called Madison Avenue, just outside NYC, (anyone need any awesome baby gifts?) My DH is a diesel mechanic but rarely does WDW with me and DD4, he can only handle so much magicpixiedust: he says..LOL...........so DD4 and I go alone(and have a blast) at least 4 times a year,(last yr we went 8 times, shhh,,,dont get DH started,LOL. _) We have APs which is the ONLY thing I ever ask Santa for and use Disney visa points, ask for disney dollars from everyone for DDs bday party and my bday etc,,,I always go on value time and its always not crowded and always awesome!! We just did free dining and now Im ruined for life-it was fab!! We have plans for Mid March and Sept and Nov, Yippee

Dh and I are Antique Dealers. Because our "paychecks" are never constant or consistant, we will be members of the once a year clan for quite some time. Some day I would like to move South, leaving NJ behind, which will hopefully make it easier for us to visit Pluto and his friends more often.
