Even when she was younger, she always seemed to carry that "old lady" style handbag, the kind my grandmother always had.

But, in grandma's day, they were in style.

The Queen still has two dogs. They are mixed-breed "Dorgis", half Corgi, half Dachshund. She used to breed Corgis and give the puppies away as gifts to friends and family, but they shut down the program a few years ago because they didn't want any awkwardness of what to do with the remaining dogs after her death. She has also decided not to get any more new dogs, apparently part of the issue is that at her age she is wary of falls, and they tend to get under her feet, so she recognizes that having several of them around her is getting a bit risky.

The two Corgis in the photo, Willow and Holly, have now passed. (She was especially attached to Willow, who was the last dog descended from Susan, the Corgi her father gave her as an 18th birthday gift.) The two at the top are Willow and Vulcan, the two at the bottom are Holly and Candy. Candy is the cutest one, IMO.

That is easy... all you need is the incentive of knowing that if you die... Charles becomes King. That would be her only reason to continue on. Her Mother was 100 wasn't she?
