Which pass would be the best

HELP!!


Long story short - Extended family and friends at OKW for a surprise summer trip to celebrate Nephews return form Iraq.


5 nights/6 days - for the majority of the group - that want to do the parks, DQ, Water parks and be able to jump from one to the other in the same day? I have PAP for me immediate family - but what would be the best value the rest of the group(all staying on site)

Without knowing your specifc touring plans, I'd recommnd the UPH (formerly known as Length of Stay pass). If they are staying at one of the DVC resorts as your guests, they should qualify to receive the 10% member discount on UPH passes. If you will be arriving late or departing early, consider asking to drop either the day or arrival or the day of departure (or both). This pass matches up very well with the PAP.

None of the other passes (except PAP which would not be a bargain for only 5 or 6 park days) include DQ. It may be less expensive to buy PHP tickets and pay separately for DQ admission. THhre is a DVC discount on DQ admission - believe it is $4. You'll have to do the math based on your specific plans.

Be sure to thank your nephew (and his family) for helping to keep us all safe. Glad to know he is coming home safe.

Isn't there a special Active Duty Military UPH rate (good for whole Military family)? If so, it is likely a better deal than the 10% DVC discount. Check out Mousesavers and AllEarsnet.com and they should be able to give you the scoop.

check out www.shadesofgreen.org They have Tickets priced for Active and Retired military Families ( atleast one person in the family must have a military ID to get into this hotel and buy the tickets, you do not have to be a guest of this hotel to buy the tickets).

The tickets that you might want them to get is the "STARS AND STRIPES LENGTH OF STAY TICKET" (open up to excel work sheet and scroll all the way to the right (start on coloum K)... this is the same as an UPH ticket.

But if they get a regular park hopper ticket, it is good forever, so if there is ever a chance if their going to go again..... or you can offer to buy their unused days from them for a later trip after your AP expires
