Emmy is exhausted this evening. She did gymnastics for 2 hours then we went grocery shopping and she ate when we got home and went up to bed herself. Bad thing is I have to wake her up shortly to go to hockey.. I talked to the instructor at gymnastics. Emmy is starting classes at the end of the month. (her and nick are doing preschool parties 2 hours of non instructed lessons) Well she is only 2 and classes start at age 3. I wanted to put her in parent tot classes but the instructor told me today she is putting her in the 3 to 5 yod. class.. She told me that em was more than ready. Great another 110 every 10 weeks.. :confused3 what can you do..

I love the fact that whenever I see your avitar & green then that gorgeous green-haired babe I will see one of the nicknames we use for our Emily. EM, M, EMMY, M-Y is another well used one around here.

I used to make her play on the floor in the living room during the late afternoon so that if she drifted off to sleep I could run out and shake her cause if she slept even for 15 minutes bedtime would NEVER happen.

Has anyone been watching the National Geographic show about baby animals in their mothers wombs. Pretty neat. They were showing a dog, a dolphin, and an elephant. Did ya know that dolphins have to consciously think about breathing. If they become unconscious they can die of asphyxiation.

Excuse...babies in Mama's wombs:confused3 THE GOLDEN GLOBES WERE ON!!!!! But Johnny pirate: didn't win so LizzY is in mourning!

not as bad as us!
We have told our kids that as soon as they turn 18 they will come home and find their stuff on the front lawn, locks changed and their room fixed up to meet our standards :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I've been known to tell my DDS that if they don't like the job I'm doing they can look in the yellow pages under "mommies" for someone better!:upsidedow

I think NSalz likes AK lodge best. Their DVC is at Boardwalk though so they usually stay there. They also love POFQ.

My family is more limited because there are 5 of us. We usually stay at POR. I prefer POR to POFQ because it is more spread out. Also love BWI because you can walk to MGM and EPCOT. Caribbean Beach is also a favorite but we haven't stayed there in 12 years because they only fit 4 to a room. We'll be staying there this April tho, because LizzY is staying with the band so we only need a room for 4. LizzY likes POR best. Tink and Winnie like BWI.

Ooh, thanks for the info! I love the idea of being able to walk to Epcot! I think my "dream" place is the BOardwalk or Beach/Yacht Club Villas. I was thinking of trying to "rent" points for one - looked at the threads on that some - but seems too intimidating. Well, more to ponder!

OH i like this question!

I stayed at Fort Wilderness every year from the time the park opened until 1982 (yup you read that correctly)

Then 2 scuzzy off-property places.

Last stay DIXIE LANDINGS (yes that is the only way I will ever call it) Just found it so peaceful and beautiful even though it was at the same time as cheerleaders were flooding the hotel! Every morning when we left the room there was a mommy rabbit and her babes eating grass. We really enjoyed staying far away from the hustle and didn't mind walking the distance to food court for our refill pops (even in the rain)

There I spoke my piece. :cool1:

Oh wait I forgot to mention the most recent hotel w/family Movie Family Suites -- great option for families who don't fit in a cheapie level and don't want to take 2 rooms. It give you a nice area with even a small kitchenette. It worked well for 4 FULL-SIZED adults

Thanks for the input Jaqueline. I remembered your saying you liked "Dixie Landings" - is that what is now called POR? (It's funny about things like that...having grown up in the "Capital of the South" I'm rather thankful they changed the name.....but can see how one feels nostalgic for something...)

I like the Movies Hotel alot it seems like one I would enjoy alot...only reason its not on the list is it doesnt have a pool slide - ds7 is a slide nut!!! (And I am a nut for how tired he gets doing it over and over.:thumbsup2

Yeah I know the reasoning they changed it. yup it is now called POR Still has the same relaxed feeling. Great pools too since you can share with the sister resort.

...I like everything I see online about it...hmmmm.......:)

We have already decided that is where we are going back to in 2009. Only have to decide which "section" Mansion. or Bayou.

Leaning towards the Bayou even though most say it is too far from everything. (that is what we want ;) )

Ok, so how do you do your popcorn:: ? Microwave, AirPop?

I've got a Stir Crazy popcorn popper. I just love it.

We make ours the old fashioned way.... with the microwave! :teeth:

:sad2:

(I can only do that because I had the same reaction when I read it...next reaction was to wonder what you'd have to say about it!;) )
:lmao: :rotfl: Thank goodness, because I was thinking ya'll would be thinking there was really something wrong with me! :confused3 :lmao:
