I need this cute bird bath in my side yard.
Looks like another week-end project here.
3 terra cotta pots & 1 saucer.

Well back to catch up.
Later.

New update on Aidan.

Well Aidan is still fighting on. They found out the infection had not entered his blood stream, but was in one of the two lines. So he will stay on antibiotics just to be safe, but it looks like he was protected quite well. They are working him back up again on his feeds and hopefully he will take back to the bottle. Over the last few days he hasn't been very successful with it.

They also had to up his heart medication, but he is handling that as well like a champ.

It is with a sad heart, that we also recognize Aidan's big brother today. Griffin Caleb would have been Six Years old today, if not taken to heaven on the day of his birth. So Griffin, we ask that you continue to watch over your little brother and put a good word in for him, so he can come home soon!

Prayers that Aidan will come home soon.

Well my friend has set her wedding date for July 14th & she has asked me to be her MOH, I am so excited! I went with her today to look at her gown, I just love it! She was going to go with a simple dress but once she tried this on, that was that lol The back of the gown laces up. I told her I would need some practice at getting this laced right for her lol

Even though this seems to be moving fast, I am very happy for her. She is on :cloud9: right now.

I need your thoughts on something. I looked at this gown when I went with Toni. I really like it & it goes with her colors(her gown is ivory & she wants me in Pink). This gown is pink & has some ivory on it. The only thing is it is strapless & I hate my upper arms :scared: Toni also showed me a dress that she liked from JC Penny's. So which one do you think goes better with the gown she is wearing? Toni is letting me pick my gown/dress, help!

The gown is style #9137

ETA: The gown is not strapless, it has spaghetti straps.

Janet I like the Penny's dress.

Happy Anniversary Vicki & Chuck!!!!

Ding Ding Ding!!! Kelli is the winner! Today was the first day that you could make ressies at AKV for non-owners. I called right at 9, which took a while to get through, waited on hold for 10-15 minutes, and was able to get a ressie for the dates that I wanted. I was hoping for a savannah view but had to settle for a standard. It's better than nothing though.
Congratulations! That is AWESOME!!!!

Great News! I just got off the phone & Butch is awake :cool1:

He has been taken off the resporater & knows who is wife & grandson are. Hopefully it will be uphill from now! He is not 100% yet, but I think he will get there. Thank you all for the prayers & thoughts :goodvibes
That is so wonderful!!!! Continued prayers for his improvement.:wizard:

So a little before Christmas time my darling Abi got into collecting Littlest Pet Shop items....really into collecting. Well, it is way to easy for this mom to become addicted. :rotfl2: I go into the Family Dollar down the street about once a week to see if they have any she doesn't have. I was excited today to find a ferret and blushing duck....:rotfl2: ....I need a life!!:lmao:
Those sound so cute!

My computer was acting Wonky this morning so I decided to tie dye. I got 5 Mickey Shirts in plastic baggies waiting for time to pass :rolleyes1 I also did 2 royal blue tie dye shirts as I couldn't buy royal blue shirts for women :confused3 While I was tied up with that :rotfl: I got a ding and didn't know it. Well it was the one that I needed to book airfare for my mother. By the time I noticed it there was only 30 minutes left to book and her phone was busy :scared: I finally got through and managed to book her flights with just a couple minutes to spare :woohoo: She will be flying into Orlando Very late on Friday Aug 3rd and she'll fly back with us on Aug 12th. Her tickets ended up being $3 cheaper than ours and those were DING fares. I guess I got a good deal originally.

Now I can add her to the reservations and buy her tickets, make her shirts etc.

Deb
Congrats on your shirts and Mom's airfare!

All this talk about ADR's I guess I had better get it in gear and complete ours for November.
Me too! I think we're just doing CP breakfast, 1900 PF breakfast and lunch at Sci Fi.

I also just got a sale notice to get me and Jonathan a flight to MO over Labor Day weekend for his grandmother's 90th b-day. Flights have been almost $400 a piece (for an hour and a half flight! ), but I just booked for $200 each. This will be so much better than driving 18 hours roundtrip!

Of course, I would rather the tickets be to MCO, and not MO, but I digress...
Congrats on your airfare!

Yippee - just noticed that I'm in double digits for my Sept. trip!
:cool1:

Lindsay - I thought about looking for the Dunkin' Donuts. If it had just been DS & me I would have done that, but Brother was NOT cooperating! Yay for double digits! I think we are at 70 days. It might be 71.
OK.....I'm going to blame you guys for going to Dunkin' Donuts twice this week. I've really gotten off track since coming home from my trip.

I just got an e-mail about a special event for AP holders on July 13 at MGM to celebrate the anniversary of ToT. That sounds fun, but there is no way we can be there for it!:headache:

I can't remember when I bought our December airfare last year. I guess I could book at Pop on a AAA room only and just watch AP rates and airfare. Hmm.:scratchin
Doesn't that sound cool?

What could it hurt to make a Pop reservation? I think I may book a January trip. Have you considered bringing an air matress for your DS at Pop?

Thanks for the update Tom. Continued prayers for Aidan. They have all been through so much.

I have been busy around the house today!

DW's B-day is Friday and I had asked what she wanted for her birthday.

She said that she wanted the new curtains hung in the bedroom, and the house cleaned. So I got the new curtains up, washed the windows inside and out, and dusted and cleaned everything (in the bedroom). At least that room now looks presentable!;) Now, I need that little cleaning fairy to come in and do the rest:rolleyes1
WOW!!! I'm sure she'll LOVE it.

I told Leighanna that she has to at least make and attempt to clean up her room too. She told me that she would like to but the Devil keeps telling her not to. Ugh! Where did she hear that from?:confused3 I guess I need to monitor her cartoon watching a little more closely!
:scared1: Oh she sounds way too smart.:rotfl:

Hello, All!

Jo - Those pics are terrific! I hope we are able to attend F&GF some year!

Janet - I am also strongly opposed to showing my upper arms for any reason! I like both dresses, but I think you should choose the one that you will be most comfortable in!:)

Tom - Good luck with the house cleaning!

Dadboss came in tonight and said they have an offer out to a girl to be my replacement. They are working out the contract details now, so they hope to have it finalized in the next day or so. I am not sure how this will work. They want her to do everything that I do, in 15-20 hours per week. The bulk of her working hours will be spent picking up the kids, going to activities, and getting them finished with homework and dinner. So WHEN is she supposed to do everything else?:confused3 I told him I don't want to overwhelm her when she works her orientation days with me, but it sounds like she may be overwhelmed anyway! I can manage to do all sorts of things in 37 hours because not ALL of my scheduled hours are hours that the kids are home. Hers will be. Not very fair to expect her to do stuff like errands when she has BOTH kids the entire time she is working. I guess they will just have to figure that out on their own! Right now I am working 46.5 hours since the kids are out of school, and I am having a horrible time accomplishing anything!

Oh I like the first one a lot more than the second. First, I think it is a bit more elegant, and since she is wearing a gown as opposed to a dress.....I would be more inclined to pick the first.

I like the Penny's dress better but I agree with what Tammi said. Maybe you could keep looking but its not like you've got much time.....

That's really cool. I'm sure yours will be great!

Evening all... Just wanted to pop in and say "Hi" I had my checkup tonight and the baby sounds good. I lost another pound. Unfortunately I have not yet started to dilate. :sad1: I figured as much. My kids don't come out without a lot of coaxing.

Anyway, I am headed to bed. I got about 2 hours of sleep last night and Molly decided today was the day to behave horribly. Elizabeth, I feel your pain. So hopefully I will get some sleep and feel better tomorrow.

I've read along just didn't have the umphh to post.'s and :wizard: to all.

I love this idea for a birdbath!

Thanks for the comments on the gown/dress. Tomorrow Toni is going to go with me to try the gown on. If I don't like the way it looks, I will look some more. I do like the dress from Penny's, but I think Tammi's statement says it best for me. I think the gown looks more elegant to go with Toni's gown.

:grouphug: I remember how miserable that last month can be. With Alyssa I was scheduled months ahead of time for a c-section. It got to the point where I finally asked the dr. if we could move the date up. He asked when and I said "got any plans for this afternoon??" He didn't buy it. I hope you sleep better tonight.

When I was at the craft fair this weekend a lady was selling lighthouses made out of terra cotta pots like that. Instead of the platter on top she inserted a solar powered light. They were sealed and painted beautifully, just like a lighthouse, but then she would put seascapes or Christmas themes on them. I'll see if I can search the web and find out anything. I may have taken her card as well. They were really pretty, but expensive.

I'm still at work. I have a 7PM meeting and then I can go home. Off to get ready.

Yuck! I hope you got home safe and sound and get a little down time. Are you still having to go in so early too???
