Anyone ever eat at the Spaghetti Warehouse? We love that place. Here's a pic taken inside the one in San Antonio TX. As you can see they put real trolly cars inside the restaurant and they are little separate dining rooms. I don't think you can see the booth in front of it but it's made from an old bed frame, they make most of their booths in there from old bed frames. They use the headboard and put a bench on it and the foot board and put a bench on it and put a table in between them. It's the greatest place and the Italian food is to die for!

Well at least I'm getting a little ahead on my posts while trying to get up to 1000 but it's lonely. Probably go take a shower and wash my hair soon. Just waiting for Sharky to call on her way home from work but no call so far

This has always been a favorte pic of DGS, the little drop of water on his chin was either drool or from the kiddie pool he had been in but it's so cute and sweet that I just adore this pic and get a nice warm fuzzy feeling when I look at it.

I hope next time you can spend more time with the kids...I think it's great when adults spend time with other people's kids. It opens their world.

Right now I'm having issues with DH's family who live only 20 minutes away. My DD doesn't even know who they are but my family who is 3 hrs away, she knows. My family takes the time to do things with us and his family is always too busy it seems...

I finally had DH talk to his brother about it. We'll see if anything changes.

Oh I know and I understand. I feel bad about it too, but I don't want their folks to treat me like trash either.

That's them on my fridge. I look at them everyday and miss them. I know I "just" saw them at Easter, but I feel like they've probably grown since then and I've missed it!!!

Just remember this, friends you can pick, relatives are (or can be) just a freak of nature seriously you can't control who is in your family and you really can't control how they act. Don't let them get to you. I'm sure you miss being at the family things, but remember, you DH & DD are a family now, your own family, do what is best for the three of you FIRST!!!! Only give out as much personal information as you think is necessary if they use it against you. Gently remind them that you love them but your immediately family and your needs and wants come first.

Mama, I think you have me confused with me with Marshay, she has a DD. I don't have a DD or a DS. Maybe that's their problem. Maybe if I had a child they would feel differently? Sorry, I'm being selfish for the first time in my life for a little while before we have kids. (I'll be 25 in a few months, I have some time yet for kids.)

YES!!! Before DH was my DH, we ate in one in AZ!!! I quite liked it. I think we onlt went the one time, I don't remember why we didn't go more often.
