Going right to left, head (can you see his little nose?), then his fist, and then tummy. This is right before he punched the wand.

I had a doctor's appointment today (regular OB). She was listening to his heart and he started punching/kicking that wand. Apparently, he doesn't like to be bothered. He has such a wonderful attitude already.

Thank you! Actually tonight was the clinic where they learn the cheers, tomorrow is the actual tryouts. They should know tomorrow night or Monday. She doesn't look hopeful, she said there were 40 or so 8th graders and only 12 spots. With so many girls, I'm sure her restrictions will go against her plus she's not a tumbler.

I am supposed to be packing right now but for some reason I can't get motivated. I am going for a 'women's weekend' About 12 of us from school are going up north. The counselor has a house in the Traverse City area and we are going to spend the weekend. It should be very interesting to have that many of us together for that long. Esp since a lot of them will be doing wine tastings on Sat. Those of us that don't drink will be going to the dunes.

That reminds me...I need to find my small camera.

Blake and I had to go to the bowling alley tonight for a friends birthday. She bowls in a league and her husband called family and friends to come up to celebrate. It was fun but I think the team they were bowling against weren't too happy. We were having so much fun that she kept forgetting when it was her turn. OOPS!

The next 2 weeks at school are going to be strange. Next week we have Wed, Halloween off a full day Thursday, Friday we have a 1/2 day, Monday is a full day then we have Tuesday off. It's a little chopped up. The only one I can understand is Tuesday. 3 of our 4 school buildings are used as polling places. We usually have the buildings locked during the day, you have to ring the bell for the secretary to let you in. But on election days we keep all doors unlocked and anyone can come in. It never made sense to me. Finally a few years ago someone thought it through and decided maybe the kids shouldn't be in the building

OK I have to finish packing so I can go to bed.

Linda...How was trick or treating? I think Donna said theirs is tomorrow. Ours in on Halloween and the stupid thing is, it starts at 2:00. The elementary schools don't let out until 3:30 and most people aren't even home from work. Go figure!

I swear, I am having one bad luck after another. The other day I got a letter in my mailbox saying I missed the mail lady and I had to go to the post office to pick up a certified letter. Well all I could think of was it had to be from that old fart that I barely dinged and now he's like dieing or something. So I put off going to pick it up. Well I got another reminder today so I figured I should go get it. Well it was from the tax office. My taxes are delinquent. My mortgage company that has been sucking us dry every month forgot to pay them. So now I have to add that to my list of crap to do.

That stinks! Good luck getting it straightened out.

Talk about cutting it close! I couldn't get an answer from the Dr until 1:45, the cheer clinic started at 2:30. I had to run and get the note and take it to school on the other side of town. He still has her on pretty strict restrictions for now. There's like 60 girls trying out, so please keep your fingers crossed and sprinkle some pixie dust, I have a feeling she's going to need it. I don't know if they will hold her restrictions against her or not. Oh and yep, I was right, all the trouble makers are there trying out, yippee!.

We will keep our fingers crossed and our prayers said!
