how do you avoid giving crappy gifts to your SIL and her dh . We got a outdoor door mat last year . I'd rather get cash or put the $$ towards stuff for my kids.

The adults in our family stopped exchanging gifts two years ago. We decided it was so much easier to concentrate on the kids. Except DH and I still buy a present for each other, but right now he says he doesn't know what he wants me to get him. What a pain in the butt he's being.

Thanks for the flowers. ...Oh it was horrible, but my DD was SOOO CUTE!!!! She knew I was sick and climbed up on the bed (using the dog stairs ) to be with me. I think she knew I caught it from her.

Does your dh have a leatherman (a sophisticated swiss army knife)?

my dh has one kinda like this, but not so many tools. He wears it on the side of his belt.
