I'm sorry that all your recent experiences have been negative. I haven't read anything of yours yet that speaks to a positive Disney experience. Hopefully you don't go to Disney only looking for the negative, and hopefully you don't only rememer the negative. Surely you've seen things that were positive in your trips to Disney.

There are many (MANY) CMs on these boards and we are all well aware of the "dark side" of being a CM. And, alas, there is a "dark side" to every job out there and to every employer. It would certainly not be an expose to tell people that there are > gasp! < unhappy Disney CMs or that there are > horrors! < problems in the CM ranks or > oh no! < mistakes made throughout the organization. Thankfully, most of the folks on these boards would prefer to hear the good as opposed to the bad.

well.. we could get into the substanc abuse problem a lot of the cm's have. My friend who works at MK and my dad who is a former CM says its mainly the costumed characters. Not saying everyone is a crack head... but just there is a problem within the cm network.

I know I know.. they drug test etc etc... but it happends. It's sad but it happends.

I can't believe that the OP had the nerve to say anything to this parent. I personally wouldn't pop a child's balloon but I hardly consider it to be abuse. Furthermore, I don't think a stranger has the right to speak up unless someone is in immediate physical danger.

I just found it odd that a 3 year old child (are 3 year old capable of being fully bi-lingual) would be crying in spanish and the mom (if it was the mom...not many moms refer to their child as "little boy") would talk to him in English instead of Spanish that he would most likely fully understand.

Why does the language that was spoken matter? And yes, children at 3 are capable of speaking more than one language fluently.

I have balloon related emotional trauma, I once handed my mom my balloon and she let it soar into the sky, never did see my balloon again
